Changed control arms on a yaris, while remembering I need to do similar work to the celica.

Right now I'm just terribly pissed with them. Helping my brother with his Maxima, some of the **** they do doesn't make any sense whatsoever. Though a Skyline would be nice until something broke.

I hear ya. I love my 350Z. I'd rock a GTR any day. But my Murano and my sister's Xterra, in addition to things I know go wrong with Z's, are a huge turn off for that brand. They don't stand behind what they build and they can't even get the easy stuff right.

Own a 2000 maxima, 266k miles. Strong car even today. Needs tie rod ends. Oem clutch. 1 maf sensor, 1 IACV, MAYBE I got a good one??? #bulletproof

This is his second Maxima. The first a 95 GXE auto that had some 230,000 miles on it, then he got rid of it for the 98 SE 5-speed that has 260,000 miles. It already went through at least one transmission, and in the process of trying to save it now. He went to the junk yard today to see if he can't find a better one though. The casing that holds the races for the the differential and main-shaft were wallowed out... The MAF is a common problem, solder joints between the circuitry and terminal crack. All you have to do is solder in jumpers and it's good as new. They have other problems here and there: EGR system, stuck rear calipers, dumping gas into the oil, leaking valve covers. The water pump is a bitch to replace, and the 5-speed has its host of problems as does the auto. That aside they're ok I suppose. I don't do sedans so it doesn't matter to me either way, but he does and I hate seeing **** like this happen to him. I tried to get him to buy a V6 5-speed Camry instead, but alas he didn't.

Which is worse, an '06 series SI or an '11 series Accord? Both are sedans. I'm curious to see if people will say the same as me haha.

Today I got my car back after two weeks at the garage, with a brand new clutch and a full service done to it. Drives great now (about time lol). Also got my 3" Ceramic coated Berk downpipe in the mail!

Today, I bought around ~$15 worth of miscellaneous clips and screws from Toyota of Concord. Tomorrow, I will probably buy center caps for the 7gc rims along with new OEM carpet mats. And maybe a cursive Celica emblem for the SS-III grille...

Today I drove my Celica for the first time in a few weeks. The weather in my town has been iffy so I've been in my dads 97 Civic for the past 3 weeks or so. After driving the Celi I realized how much better of a car it is than a civic .

Civic gets mad gas mileage, about the only thing it has going for it. Then again I get 35+ out of my ST Celica.

Today I decided to Sell my Celica just because something better is coming. pics will come later

I am intrigued.
