Any updates? I'm guessing 28th of July is the set date and seems like Manresa State Beach will be the bbq spot. Where should we rendezvous at or should we just go straight to the bbq spot and cruise afterwards? I'd say we should find a rendevzvous point and cruise around for a bit then head to the bbq spot and chill there. Anyone familiar with the area enough to know a good route to cruise around? I know for sure highway 1 is going to be super busy. Like always. Well be tough for all of us to keep together. Bear creek road and skyline blvd are both awesome drives. Both are north of santa cruz in the santa cruz mountains and neither is on the way to Manresa state beach Anyone coming from the north could take Calaveras roadd which runs parallel to 680 and is one of the best drives in the area IMO -------------------- 94 GT - Sold -------- 69 Pontiac Lemans - Sold 88 Alltrac - Sold ---- 04 WRX - Sold 00 GT-S - Sold ------ 91 Miata - project/drift car 95 GT - Sold -------- 96 GT - New Daily Drive |

It sucks having to drive I-5 for a car meet. You'll wash your car all pretty before you leave and arrive with hundred of bugs all over the front I drove the 5 from SF to LA with the entire front end covered with painters tape......Took it off and wala super clean! im debating on the painters tape idea lol. my girlfriend thins it sounds crazy and i kind of like that idea. ill probably just bring some quick detailer and a few rags. were trying to decide where to stay the night before, she requested saturday off so we can have a nice 3 day vacation. After the meet we will be going to san jose to meet our friends, if anyone is down to cruise afterwards. i like the idea of meeting at a gas station/grocery store so we can pick up supplies and some quick photo shoot action. nics has my number already ill shoot a pm to 83841 and ilovemysilly so we can help arrange things and what not |

Also, I'm sure there's one of those coin-operated self service car wash places in the area if you want to give it a quick wash before the meet. -------------------- 94 GT - Sold -------- 69 Pontiac Lemans - Sold 88 Alltrac - Sold ---- 04 WRX - Sold 00 GT-S - Sold ------ 91 Miata - project/drift car 95 GT - Sold -------- 96 GT - New Daily Drive |

^I'd recommend washing your car before you come and do a touch up with some sort of deatailer spray after the long drive. Lol. I can never trust anyone or anything wash my car. I'm just scared because I don't know what kind or quality of soap they're using. And how clean their rags and what material they are. Could have dirt and give you slight swirl/slash scratches. Lol. Just my opinion though.

Does anyone know if there'll be a grill at the location or would we have to bring our own and can we even have a fire there or do we have to use the gas grills?
