I'll find the link on celica tech again
Its been done with a 1mz so it should work with a 2mz
The rav4 trans from my understanding is the same as the gt4 trans just the transfer case is more compact leaving enough room for the exhaust

Interesting, let me know. Hard to find, even the 2mz on Ebay doesn't come with a complete wiring harness/ecu. I still probably won't do it, i want to get more modular and less custom. Being custom sucks at rallys...

Good luck with the race, and congratulations on what I assume to be the start of a Rex build. Interesting.

You would be correct!

I'll be driving the celica for probably another year. I'm taking my time with this build, really I need to finish the solstice and a few other projects I have around the house.

A Solstice? What a homely choice among your other vehicles. I never understood the appeal of either GM roadster variation.

Its my girlfriends haha. Flood damaged, were going to put a LS1 in it, but I'm just going to get it back on the road. Interior is stripped but doesnt run yet.

As for the "ex" vehicle, I'd really like to see someone put a 3S-GTE in it - the AWD is already there, it would only be right.

Destroyed the car again. RallyWV has my number.

24 mile night stage, wrecked 21.5 miles in. Came through an area that had less grip than the previous 21, ankle high mud on the road. We had about an inch of rain that day. No margin for error. Smashed the front up, but not bad. The tow truck end up pulling the entire rear corner off the car because it got hooked on a tree and they didnt want to listen to me on how to tow it out.

Tree got wedged between the tire and rear fender.

Not sure what the plan is as far as this car goes. Considering taking it back to 2wd to sell it to future rally racer. Then selling all the AWD stuff separately.

Well guys haven't updated this in a while.

The celica will be fixed, got a new rear and front fender. Car will be ready to go for sno*drift in January. Probably wont start working on it till around thanksgiving though. The car will most likely be for sale after January. Will come with a spare drivetrain, engine transmission most suspension etc.

Anyways, been working on stripping down two GD impreza chassis' . The flood damaged solstice is a disaster, but running; really its done aside from the interior, but I need to take to a GM dealership cause I can't reprogram the BCM.

The black impreza will be put on a rotisserie; stripping all the rubber crap off using liquid nitrogen, seam welding the chassis, adding pin mount jack stand points. Etc. Not a celica but I can still update the thread if anyone is interested in the build.

Rear ended I stripped for parts. I'll be cutting the roof off and rear quarter thats still good and save them for spares in case bad things happen.

This will be the next rally car.

Parts from everything and the stupid solstice.

Tire collection keeps growing.

I'm not a huge fan of the Solstice myself; one of my friends had one and it was good to look at but otherwise I preferred my Celica. However, I do like where you're going with the STi's. I'd like to continue to see updates and I'd buy the Celica myself if I had any money whatsoever.

Solstice is the girlfriends. It's waaay to small for me. I was going to be a ls1 in it, but the i decided that she would kill herself and put a stock 2.4 back in it.
