A celi can't outrun a crown vic on the highway. If you can't hang a right and get out of sight before they close in on you then don't bother. Like I said though if they have to bust a bitch or start from a dead stop I will try to hitthe first exit or turn. I'm already getting a ticket for speeding. But I slow down and pull over immediately if they catch me, otherwise you get a felony evading arrest plus theyre suspicious your stashing dope. On a highway oh no but in the country cop cars arent quite as tough car wise haha. I've gotten an eluding charge, 3 more months on my suspension. It does happen unfortunately, they show up at your house the next morning with cuffs in my experience. My local cop drove a v6 charger weighing in over 4500 pounds with all the equipment on it. They had it tuned for gas mileage, the celica easily accelerated much quicker than that car in my experience. Also crown vics aren't nearly as fast as people think they are or they wouldn't be sold at auction with the same engine under the hood. Here's an idea, don't drive like a jackass then it's not a problem. lmao I don't.Again bored rural cops are assholes. |

Dude, if you find another set for that price, buy them and I'll toss you some extra cash for them. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong places but I never see them cheaper than $175 USD. Yeah, seriously! 0.0 What a steal. -------------------- 1994 Toyota Celica GT-S 5S-FE 190k Miles. Project car 1992 Toyota Celica GT 5S-FE 170k Miles. I adjusted my headlights. They were pointing too low, so now they're where they're supposed to be. Can see even better now. Been driving the last few days in miserable heat, and having to use the A/C. I can't help but parody the old lady in that Wendy's commercial, "Where's the power!?" Damn I need a car with torque... Having to turn off the A/C when climbing hills and pulling onto highways and interstates at a decent speed is embarrassing. Well, I don't HAVE to but it certainly helps to do such... Sad thing is after lowering my tire pressure by 20% I actually enjoy the car otherwise. Need a GT... or a 3rd Gen / V6 swap GT wouldn't do me any good, all it does is suck down a more considerable amount of gas for a paltry gain of 20 hp and 30 ft lb. V6 swap would be worthwhile though, but in over a year I haven't found a "volunteer" for harvesting. So oh well... I thought about doing a 4A-GZE swap, but finding a donor is impossible as well. So that leaves just buying something else. A celi can't outrun a crown vic on the highway. If you can't hang a right and get out of sight before they close in on you then don't bother. Had court with the officer today and he did lose. He was a rookie trying to make a name for himself. I'm a ginger and stick out like a sore thumb, do the math. Thank god, suspension is gone.

Today I pondered if redoing the exhaust would do any good. I asked my Magic 8-Ball and it told me, "Not Likely".

I just got my '94 Celica GT-Four over the Canada day weekend, and drove it from YYC to YVR. I had my friend research the car since I couldn't see it myself, so I trusted him, and bit the bullet at $5k.
I have to pass an out of province safety inspection, and there were many issues to the car I did not know about when I picked it up, so I've started working on a list of items to work on. Yesterday, I received my DOT approved '94 Celica ST low-beams to replace my Japanese lights. Have to get them installed by someone else, as I do not have the tools. The HKS/AEM style short ram intake was just placed into the intake without any proper fitting, and I could lift it and slide it out with ease. Since it was not attached properly, there was oil from somewhere that had accumulated there. Not a good sign. eBay has a $19(+ship.) Silicon tube, and Lordco offered me a $44 Vibrant brand tube, so I went to Canadian Tire and spent $22 on some plumbing supplies: a 4" to 3" Flexible Coupling connecter, and a metal mechanical clamp that had a rubber tubing inside. I took the rubber tubing and fit it onto the end of the mushroom filter tightly, and then into the smaller entrance of the coupling connecter. Voila. This is a temporary fix until I purchase an Apexi Power Intake. Lastly, for tonight, I'm on a replacement generic horn button and hope it fits my Tomei wheel (dunno whether it's a real one or not). All the ads on eBay say the buttons are meant to fit in 2" centers, and list most aftermarket steering wheel producers except for Tomei. Also, since the horn was non functional from the get go, I hope the generic one plugs into the single wire from the column and works. Hmm... Later next time: - Removing illegally dark tint from driver and passenger sides. - filling in 2 smaller chips on the windshield. |

Got some custom made bumper magnets coming in! Here's how it looks!
I'm planning on cutting them out and put them on my car for events and take them off whenever I don't want them on. The size is 3"x10" so they'll be a nice little size. -------------------- |

scored a dual throttle body from the junkyard for my 1mz What!? They made one for the 1mz? Yup! On the 1mz with vvt-i out of the Avalon! The only thing I have to worry about now is the TPS because the DTB has a 3 wire TPS compared to the STB which has a 4 wire TPS. But it should be simple to figure out. I believe you just have to create some sort of switch for when you're at WOT. |

Hey guys. Am I JDM enough since I have this shocker on my rear bumper?
Sad to say it but I actually liked this decal. The one and only decal/vinyl I kept on from the previous owner. Lol. -------------------- |
