Travel somewhere better, like Japan... Yes.... Then again if you're like me you'd just spend all of your time chasing women dressed in cos-play...
ANYHOW..... Since you're set on the States you should start thinking about what economical mode of transportation you'll be getting. Just kidding, buy something that'll drain OPEC and throw its tail out more than a cheap hooker. -------------------- 2001 Miata LS 5-speed

Just kidding, buy something that'll drain OPEC and throw its tail out more than a cheap hooker. I've been cheating on the Celica with a Miata for the past few days...I love being able to flick it around far below legal speeds. Such a brilliant car. Just kidding, buy something that'll drain OPEC and throw its tail out more than a cheap hooker. The problem is its not just travel - it is 6 months of fee paying credited study towards my 4 year degree, and I don't want to be learning important concepts of electrical engineering in a language I can't understand!!! Then I fail the units or at the very least not have the knowledge needed to keep my GPA when I return the following semester. If it wasnt for this fact then I would be traveling to Germany. And transportation is decided... I seriously thought about the Miata, then I remember that what I hate about the Celica also plagues it: no power whatsoever. I'm tired of not being able to do anything once I'm up to speed. You make a good point, since this one has 167bhp and I wouldn't want any less. However, I know how good the NA is so it doesn't matter in this case. Stop making excuses and just buy a Supra Turbo already. -------------------- '97 ST \ Eibach \ KYB \ Kenwood \ Alpine \ Cusco \ OEM+ [sold 10/18]

Been trying to find one, found a 86.5 N/A for $850 not far from me. I'm tempted but in the end I'll wish I had held out for the Turbo, that and it's burgundy on burgundy... The Miata can be bad ass once you throw forced induction or a V8 into the equation. My uncle smoked a new Hemi Challenger the other day, it was in a straight line too. Really throwing it around the MKIII Supra Turbo or a 4th gen Trans Am. Thought about the SN95/S197 Mustang, then decided I didn't want to spend a fortune on suspension to make it livable. Then there was a S13 240SX, step in the right direction but would need swapped or forced induction to bring it to what I want. Z32 300ZX N/A is still kind of in the mix, but I think I'd like a Supra or T/A more. Should just throw names in a hat and go from there.

I found some awesome sunglasses that're my favourite colours, but I can't wear them without having judgement being passed upon me. Stupid society.

That's what turning on the A/C makes it feel like. My 3000GT had a A/C ECON as well, and it'd cycle the compressor on and off automatically. I'm assuming that's what it does as well. I can't wait to have another car where having the A/C on makes no perceivable difference to performance.

I can't wait to have another car where having the A/C on makes no perceivable difference to performance. My aircon cycles on both AC and ECON. On ECON, it cycles a lot more frequently. Usually on a long trip I start on AC to cool everything down then flick to ECON to keep a nice temp -------------------- ------------------------------| White '94 Celica | Bought 11/05/12 | Sold 12/05/15 |------------------------------ |

I have never used Econ on mine And my friend (can't use the word mate around you lot, thanks Box ) always turns my AC off when we go for a 'spirited' mountain drive, but I struggle to feel any difference off vs on with the 5S... -------------------- SOLD :( 1997 ST204 Celica ZR -----> See it here on 6GC! 2013 October Celica of the Month XD Now: '00 NB8B Mazda MX5 -----> See it here in off topic! |
