Gonna be cutting it close on the 1MZ install, may need some extra firepower the weekend before (coughDustin/Stefcough) to get this bitch dropped in and tearing up asphalt.

I am bound and determined to have the FIRST 1MZ Celica in New England at this meet. Parts keep showing up, but I'm waiting on a gasket kit, which means I can do literally nothing until that moseys in.

I am looking forward to this meet !

Sounds like we're both pushing it close. I've for some parts ordered that should be showing up this week, then I've got to pull my motor out next weekend and swap some stuff out. Might be a two weekend project. Anyone from New England want to come down and help out?

ha me too, i have a week when i get back to NY to finish all the body work, sand, repaint the whole car and make sure everything with the swap is running smoothly heres to hoping haha

I may end up stripping the engine down and dropping the block in this weekend. That I can reseal (I already have the oilpan gasket for some reason). I just don't like doing 1MZ beltsin the car as they're a royal bitch.

you all are playing a dangerous game. I finished my work a couple weeks ago so I could beta test the car before I take the trip

The 1mz is runing an driving but with only 300 miles on it Istill don't trust it to drive this far

Yep we are going to Daniels to help so if he doesn't make it to the meet I am making the trip to his place to personally kick his butt.... Lol I'm spending my long weekend with Kurt in the car so he can get it done
