Hey
If anyone has one of these laying around in good condition I would like to take it off your hands. This is the egt sensor the runs the cat light on the dash

I don't think there's a light for the cat on the gauge cluster....and I don't believe we have a cat temp sensor on our cars. I know we have two o2 sensors though

I'm sorry anyone who has a JDM motor, 3rd gen or RC might have one... US models don't but but i assure you they exist

its a JDM only item, its located right after the cat in the downpipe, and yes, the JDM/euro gauge cluster has the light on the dash for it. (yes, it is a cat temp sensor, and is meant to light when the cat gets clogged and overheats.)

to the OP, if the gauge light is on, IIRC you can bridge the plug for the sensor with a peice of wire and that will kill the dash light. noone in the US hooks it up, we just leave it disconnected when we do our swaps cause 99.9 % of us go to aftermarket 3" downpipes that do not have the provision for the sensor.
