I've thought about a GS-R, but the wrong wheels moving the car is bothersome.

The gsr does make a great dd. Like I've said before I've owned this car for 7 years and its been nothing but great. Just basic maintenance and recently I've changed the timing belt and seals and put a type r oil pump. Pretty quick cars even when there stock. They get great gas mileage. I average 31mpg. Also great handling cars as well. I put skunk 2 full body coil overs and front and rear strut bars. Car handles on rails.

It'd make for a good commuter, sort of like the Celica with more go go. I was going to get a GS-R, but was pushed towards the Celica and got it instead. That's ok, if I had I'm sure some hoods would've stolen it by now to upgrade their EG/EJ Civic. tongue.gif

I had the chance at a 92. Stage 2 clutch, full DC exhaust and the body was in mint shape with that teal all the Honda boys go nuts for. Didn't buy it because it's a honda, and because it had no balls. Yeah it was fast as ****, but there was no torque. The Celica came alive when I sat in it. The Celica felt like an actual sports car and it had retarded amounts if torque over the Teggy. More than happy with my decision.

The bug eyed GS-R makes 11 more ft. lb 800 RPM sooner than the previous GS-R. A bug eyed GS-R wouldn't be too far off from a GT Celica. I still think I'd had been happier with a GS-R over the Celica, at least it's not ungodly slow. That's ok I would've ended up hating it too, so in the end I guess it doesn't even matter.

Might have a trade offer for a GSR in the works for the Saab, and some cash. We'll see.

Would be trading my 9-5 Aero 5MT Stage2 and cash for it. It's a 2001 in white, fully converted to ITR spec with all JDM ITR parts. This would be GSR #4.

Yeah, I have a "real" Saab. Last of the real ones, has a Saab engine, not an Ecocrap. I'm gonna miss the 300+lb/ft of torque.

Funny coincidence, I was just wondering what happened to you last week. Still looks nice Rico! I'm thinking an SW20 or NA Miata will be my next vehicle.

Oh my god... I LOVE your number plate, lol tongue.gif

Nice pics (As always tongue.gif) smile.gif

I was just speaking to a newbie in Oz the other day about helping them find me some parts and they sent me a picture of your car (underground carpark shot with the 7th gen wheels) and said this was their dream! smile.gif
