Black wheels are not for my taste. Maybe on a black car with everything else black too.
On another color they just don't stuck out.

I really don't, I may get a few hours a day at best. Who needs sleep anyway?

Anyhow, that GT is about 15 or miles away from me. I'm hoping like Hell it has leather interior, will help my sale value. tongue.gif A part of me thought about just buying the whole car and doing an engine swap, but that'd be against my better judgement. tongue.gif

so you still want to sell. What of the celica makes you unhappy?

you want a car with high MPG and power. There is no such thing.

Yep, have it on feeBay now actually. Really my only complaint is the fact is that it's ungodly slow, and red. tongue.gif FWD is another, but tactical handbrake use can sort that out if needed. That aside I like the car, and I like driving it. I actually was perusing eBay looking at BEAMS engines and 3S-GTE's just a few minutes ago, prices are down a good bit since the last time I've looked. Maybe if I were to shop around I could get a car thrown together for less than $3,000. Which then it'd be worthwhile, seeing as that's what most GS-R Integras go for. My only concern would be the finding and replacement of parts at a moments notice.

Tell that to the C7 Corvette. tongue.gif More in perspective with things the Integra GS-R, RSX Type-S, Celica GT-S, and 3.8 F-body come to mind. All of them get over 30 on the highway, and the 3.8 even does so on regular. They're all 7 seconds or less to 60 too as well. Talking only $50-$150 a year difference in gas between the ST and those. Even a LT-1 F-body would only be about $350 more a year at the most. The first three are comparable in size and handling ability, even the F-body isn't a complete slouch when it comes to handling. In comparison to others I really don't do much driving, maybe some 7,500 miles a year at best with 90% of my driving being on the highway. Even then what little that's not on the highway isn't stop and go unless I get caught at the one red light in town... When I bought the Celica I was under the impression I'd be doing a considerable amount of driving, and petrol was also floating around $4 a gallon for regular. Well things turned out differently so the primary purchasing point means nothing to me now. Especially looking back now and seeing there are cars that aren't that much worse on fuel anyway, and are considerably quicker.

you do the math too much. sorry, but i just put gas and go. The number 1 concern I have is comfort.

It's my job though, analyzing things to death and crunching numbers is what I do. Really fuel costs is trite at this time, and I'm not too broken to be overly concerned with comfort. It'd just be nice to have the ability to pass people, and be able to run the A/C without bogging the car too much. That's not too much to ask for. tongue.gif

Good! Next year, come to CSP! I want to see your car!

Today I filled my car with gas and was praised by a gas station worker for it's shine and how white it was. He couldn't believe that I drive it all season, every day, or that it has 177k miles on it. Makes you feel good when your hard work gets noticed, even if you know the car isn't where you want it yet.

I also had a so called "Honda tuner" who supposedly had built a blue civic featured in "super street" praise me on my "perfect fitment" yesterday. Said he'll do my paint job and body work for $1500. I'd rather give my money to Manny haha.

Also... Fùcking Hell!!!!!! That GT had leather, but he somehow sold it between 9 this morning when he texted me and now when I had time to check my phone. Oh well, that's Murphy for you.

I've seriously considered it. Buy a GT with a blown/sick engine for $500 or so, then the cost of a BEAMS swap shouldn't be too terribly bad from looking around on feeBay.
