I have a TWM in mine. i love it.

I dont see any reason the ebay specials wouldn't work either. I put one in my 7th gen and it worked fine. it looked just like the TWM i put in

try searching for a second hand TRD ST202/205 quick shifter, as it will also fit your ST204 on Japanese auction sites

Rusty, I have been doing this twice daily for over 6 months, and in this time I have only found one come up (second hand) and that was over $300, excluding agent fees, domestic shipping in Japan and the international shipping :'(

Haha, yeah tongue.gif Its annoying because you still see them in clips a lot, and in whole cars for sale, but not very often by themselves (And they never want to part out).

My car came with a TRD 7GC Quickshift V1. I upgraded to the V2 and love it. I just never had good luck with eBay pieces (I snapped one in my old GSR), and that was enough.

Hey, it just wanted to match the rest of the car's build quality. laugh.gif

Bought the car with it. Funny though, everything else was A1 stuff (Skunk2 coils/arms/balljoints, DC header, Apexi N1 catback, AEM intake, Hondata ECU, etc.) Why you would cheap out on a shifter is beyond me. I slapped in a DC shifter and had zero issues thereafter. The cheap eBay ones are made out of a low quality billet to be light, my DC unit weighed over a pound.

Oh, and I LOVED my GSR. Shame someone else couldn't afford it and had to have it.

The one Ferdi posted was billet steel, so it should be fine. I've heard stories of people snapping the cheap aluminum ones before. I personally would use TWM, but paying $200 to get a short throw in an economy car seems kind of stupid.

I got a 7th gen. Bought it off another member along with a bunch of other parts. Make sure you get the aluminum mounts for the shifter base, they make an enormous difference over the stock rubber ones.

I bought mine cheaper than $40, but that was also a year ago. It's worth the investment, although I cannot judge.
