So I picked up some TRD rear splitters (copies im pretty sure not the real things) and repainted them to Super White but like alot of the rear splitters they dont seem to fit very well. It seems its either have it close to the body with the end sticking out or the end in line with the top sitting about 1cm away from the rear bumper. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to better mount these to get rid of this gap. I have thought about widening the holes they screw on with abit so to angle them abit better because I have tried body tape but it just pops off becuase as it is currently it takes too much pressure to push them up flush with the car.

How far does it sit out when it is lined up at the top? Silly97 had this problem recently when he had mistakenly purchased coupe splitters not hatch ones, which made them too long. Thread with comparison shots of his and my car here;

Got to be careful buying stuff off eBay. The sellers thinks all 6gc parts are interchangeable. JoshuaM provided the links with the measurements in them. Measure and youll see.

Yea, none of the copies fit 100% perfect, at least ive never seen a set of copies in my 10+ years here that has.
They all have theyre own little issues, just a matter of playing with them to get them to fit as good as possible. Post some pics and im sure the guys will be able to give ya some tips on getting them to fit better.
Sometimes its as easy as a little heat with a hairdryer and flexing them to get them better, sometimes its more drastic...lol

Deff looks like coupe rear spats. Take measurements to be for sure before purchasing a new set.

i have crappy copies as well, and what i always did was use 3m double sided tape on that top edge first, then install the screw in the wheelwell, and i added a small self tapping screw to the very end where it wraps around the bumper on the very bottom where its really hard to see the screw, and just hid it with a bit of touch up paint.

Might give that a try. I did try use tape but i put the screws in first so ill try tape then screws. I have also used a screw at the end but ill try this out and let you know how it works

so tried tape then screws and managed to get a far better fitment. Still not perfect because they are copys but this is probably as good as I can do. The screw holes didn't line up very well but with abit of fiddling and starting some screws on an angle I got them all in. Would defiantly recommend doing it this way to anyone with a similar issue

Since they're reps. That looks like it's for your car must that it's not a perfect fitment.

You could treat them with sand paper from inside to smooth edges, then glue it with windshield glue to Your car all the way on top. If You press it in several points maybe it will fit better. Only prob will be when You would want to remove this bumper.

But that all depends on material hardness of this splitters. If its to hard it wont give up.
