YEAH!!!!!!!!!
Anyhow, to get back onto topic somewhat I'm still looking for seats and no luck... Ehh, I suppose at this point I'd even consider a nice cloth set. Seems 7GC cloth sets are fairly easy to come by, only problem is I don't recall any of them being black... -------------------- 2001 Miata LS 5-speed

That would work, and I guess if it boiled down to it the solid gray would as well... As long as it isn't the funky gray with blue or red.

The black and gray would be spiffy, in fact I'd prefer them. There'd finally be something to tie in with the gray headliner and visors.

Those should be much easier to find over. Our leather seats.
But you'll need to pick up 96+ seat rails from a 6gc to make them work Doesn't the 7gc back seat fit too? -------------------- 95 gt coupe, v6 swap weekend toy

If I'd go to 7gen fronts I'd have to swap the rear too

Hopefully you remedy this seat situation soon! I have the black/grey cloth seats in my 7gc and tan leather in my 6gc. Both are pretty comfy although I'm noticing the 7g seats aren't great for long distance trips on my back...but they could be worn out as the car has 218k on it already! I also have a full set of cloth seats to sell from my 6gc parts car that are in pretty decent shape.

Hiya mate not been here for a while but yeah the 7gc rears fit straight in without too many issues and the fronts don't quite line up so they'll need a little welding done to fabricate them to mount easily enough
I'd recommend that you don't go for leathers as they wear very quickly and look ****e when they're marked up lol If you go for the cloth seats from a 7gc 140 if you get them not the 190 version you'll get better seats Here's mine from my white Celica And yes I had the 7gc wheel as well, Makes a lot of difference to the interior IMO |

Some like those would work. Just a matter of finding them and installing them.

If you've got a 94-95 the rails are either slightly different in length or width I can't remember which it was but it's not as much of a pig to do as some expect it to be
Over in the UK the 96+ rails are the same as the others so I'd not expect too much to be different possibly wiring for airbags but that should be about it, Obviously you'd not be able to use the airbags in the seats from the 7gc Do you have the 140's over there or just the 190's? GT's or GT-S aren't they :S This post has been edited by sr666: Nov 18, 2013 - 8:28 AM |

You don't have to weld 7th gen seats. You can just swap your old rails over. It's much easier than welding in my opinion.I definitely recommend 7gc seats, they're very comfortable and supportive.

Mine are the 94-95, and we have the GT and GT-S here. Though over here the seats are the same between the two aside from materials used and they don't have airbags in them. Personally I like how the 7GC seats look more than the 6GC seats, the integrated headrest looks nicer to me.

No matching backseat, besides it's impossible to find a MR2-S. Especially one that's being parted out.

They're not in yet, but I have to weld the seat rails because I have the 94 seats currently, and finding a junked 96+ around here is impossible. I was also contemplating either (a) getting leather seat covers or (b) just dying the cloth straight black... so there are always options if you find a decent set.
