It's a win win situation. I get to drive the car and at the same time save money for parts.

... Sells the car after 6 years and 90 000km, feels heartbroken and buys it back three months later. I just missed it too damn much and the 7gc couldnt even compare in fun-factor, never parting with it again:P

...your car is worth half as much as an Integra in the same shape, yet cost $5k more new.

...you get asked at least once a day if it's your (insert random female title here)'s car.

...you have to constantly justify the v6 swap to everybody.

...no one thinks anything of your purple zebra seat covers, because dudes don't drive Celicas.

...you go to a gay bar with a friend and drink for free because of said seat covers. (Win! I'll gladly drink for free!)

...valet park it, and the Valet leaves YOU a tip in the ashtray of his phone number.

...you get pulled over and get asked: "Does your girlfriend know you were speeding in her car?" (Car is in my name...grrr)

...you constantly get "Hey, sweet Integra!"

...you spent $600 on front and rear splitters because they were pre-painted the right color, and they came from Japan.

There's more I'll be adding as I visit more places and do more things with her.

You know you own a Celi when you try to fit a drink in the cupholder and realize that they were apparently made by the nazis

My passengers are the cup-holder.

Although they are still the same size as the regular ones

...you turn backward and carefully sit down in it as you try not to bump your head climbing in and
...you have the seat tilted back far enough for your elbows to be fully extended yet your head still almost touches the headliner

I'm only 5'10" so I have about 3" of headroom to spare, that's with the moon-roof too.

Hello, new to the forum but not to Celica's or cars.


You know you have a celica when you have to describe your car as to having 4 round headlights and finally showing a picture what it looks like.

Hunting for JDM parts and not saaying how much you spent on it

I've spent a crap ton of JDM parts since I've bought so many but I don't care I'm the Jdm part king now.

I'm just hunting parts for my vert and saving to get projector lights and front lip and mats and ultra rare arm rest

did JDM do a bag for a vert roof cover ? and box for the OEM removable stereo face as they was already in my car when I bought it plus the tool kit

its a double edged sword, our celicas are not respected or desired here in the US because we got the low end options. So no one cares about it. The bright side, its not mainstream so when you fix it up, its unique and respected by those who see or experience it from you.
