I still say that has to the best look for our cars by far.

Totally agree. I always thought the painted roof scheme was different and "nice", but this angle gives me a whole new perspective.

Dayam.

Made a hole so I can access the fuel pump if something like, I don't know, a swap happens.

Added more steel bracing.

Added 45° , bigger on is where the port is.

Some rounding up.

The port is ready

The steel cage is around 19-20 kilograms.
With the wood added it goes to around 40 kg. With the subwoofer it will be 60 (132lbs). That is less than my weight.
It will be kinda like I always have a passenger with me, tho I have no back seat and other stuff. Let's say a skinny cute chick biggrin.gif

How is the box secured to the car. Will u be bolting it to the car? Reason i ask cuz it just hit me in a sudden brake or collision it might hurt u if it displaces forward. Otherwise i cant wait for it to see how it sounds

I've made five metal bracket that bolt onto the car's stock bolt locations, which are reveled after you remove the seats. Then they bolt onto the cage.
I'll also make a custom strut bar that will connect both side of the suspension tops (obviously) and the back side of the cage.

Roughly cut out the port with the jigsaw

Then I used the router to straighten everything up

Rounded over with a different bit for a nice air flow

These grooves are very narrow and several mm deep. When I go ahead and cover the whole thing, the fabric it will be cut and pushed inside the grooves for a nice, flush look.

Placed the subwoofer for the first time and predrilled the mounting holes. The strings are there to help me get it out as it's very hard to lift a 20kg sub when it is flush mounted on the box
