I still don't understand why people run such wide tires.. Those wheels will fit, but those tires will kill your performance.

For the height go 40 if you're low and go 45 if your on lowering springs or stock height.

To stay in oem specs you'll need 225/40/17.

Thanks guys. I've read some other topics and hopefully with luck it will fit there fine. I hope so biggrin.gif I dont want hella flush. Only decent look car with good grip if I need...The performance should be fine with these type of tyres. I want something between power and grip...If I want to accelerate rapidly, I'll buy MKIV Supra biggrin.gif

wider tires will kill ur performance in speed. not in handling, if u have a 5sfe do not run 17s lol u will lose tons of speed but if ur running 3sge with 17s it won be too bad, im not running 235/45/17 i lost maybe 10% speed but my handling is much better but i think 17x71/2 with 225 is the perfect size for our peformance handling without much speed loss

For best size tires and rims for our cars. Imo. Is to get them gt4 stock wheels. The three spoke blade looking ones. Lol.

Lack of acceleration still ruins handling, since cornering is only acceleration in a different direction. On light, low-power cars like ours it is absolutely noticeable when a large increase in unsprung weight, i.e. heavy wheels/tires hanging on the suspension, occurs. The added grip is nice but grip is useless if the struts can't mate the tire to the road correctly.
