What size Ultra Quiet resonator did you get? As I found out too late (and to quote Batman722) "Turns out it's not ultra quiet at all." I'll be adding a second resonator to my system.

2.25"

I have 2.5" and 14" length if I remember correctly. I wish my exhaust was quieter, but then again I'm biased and I don't want to hear my exhaust at all. The volume isn't unbearable.

As far as I know all the Ultra Quiet resonators are all the same length. And yeah I'm really hoping for a nice deep exhaust tone, nothing too loud. I guess I'll find out when it's all done.

Today I got an email saying somebody grabbed the quickshifter before I did. Oh well, I haven't lost anything.

Damn, I was about to start heckling you via PM tongue.gif

Today I am sitting in Downtown Vancouver. My car will be alone at home for quite a while.... Or until late June / early July to be more precise.

Unfortunately I am feeling a bit off today so I'm sitting in my room instead of going to the Vancouver Aquerium and Stanley Park. But On Sunday I am heading up for a week of skiing at Whistler, so it would be nice if some snow fell before then. After that I am flying to San Fransisco and heading down to San Jose where I will be studying for the semester.

I haven't been on here for a while because I was crazy busy getting ready to head over here and I was put on work extended trading hours and 6 days a week for the lead up to Christmas, finishing only hours before I had to be at the airport.

I also had another car for a bit, a Beemer, I'll post pics some other time. That one was just to buy and sell for lols and a bit of cash but I didn't get it sold in time so I ended up only making a couple of hundred, but it was free transportation fr a while.

Only if you brought your car. We could've taken pics of our cars next to each other. Lol. The silver twins!

^ Sorry to hear that. People are awful. If you post a picture of your Faux-86 so we can marvel at it in dire, dire jealousy, would that make you feel better?

Today I passed 122,000mi. Proper midnight drive yesterday. Auto-cross this sunday. Must flush clutch master fluid.

Also gawked at this today. Automotive goal - the sound of a flat six echoing off a mountainside behind me. Optimally a GT3, realistically a silver 993 with GS-style black stripes over the driver's side fender. I already thought of a custom number plate.

Already am anyway, and all in time, good Sir Box. At some point I'll be in a "new-car budget" position, in which case I can afford a 993, as long as they don't appreciate more. From a quick google search, $35000 seems to be the target there.

An NA6 or SW20 is next though, I just haven't decided which.

The 993 is my favourite as well. Hmm, SW20 with a turbo.

With a 3S-GTE it'd be perfect. I love the 911 for its backwards nature but epic results. I've driven them only virtually but the habits of slight understeer and then massive slidey oversteer just
seems like such fun. Plus to feel the weight move around; I prefer a lighter car but the distribution of the sixer's heft seems marvelous.

I did further research and no MR2, nor mid-engine RWD car, is a snow car, so NA6 it is. I can do coilovers and raise it above stock height with snow tires and it'll be just cherry. '90-'93 Silverstone with a '93 LE-style red leather interior. Something like this to start with. I haven't found a car I like without a short nose crank yet.

Tonight, I had a Maserati flash me from the rear and tail me for a few blocks on my way to work, and then had two asian kids (probably RevScene members) rev their CRV engine at a few stop lights on my way home.

I also overheard some smoking kids at a bowling alley gawking at my car and saying "He's probably Filipino!" when I was grabbing some beers. Gawh! I'm Japanese! Wrong type of Asian!

I'm not quite used to this kind of attention I guess.

Diego's car is one of those cars where its your own sweat and love that's out into it. You won't get the same amount of value you want because in others eyes. Its just another car. They dont understand our 6gc. Lol.
