Depends on the weather, rims, tires, road etc. Go out and try, have some fun.

Let's say it's a warm and dry day on a good set of summer tires I'd say somewhere around 4k.
Never got the chance to try though as my diff mount is all torn and worn and the syncros grind especially when I try to shift too quickly. Search for guys who installed rev limiters and see where they set it to. But it all depends on the weather conditions and driver. |

Peak torque, assuming the driveline will hold the sudden shock and you have the traction to accelerate.

I didnt want to create a new thread since its a silly question, so i'll just ask here. No offense TS.
Whats a good rpm to cruise at with the 3sgte? I mean with the least amount of stress on the engine. Below 2k its like sitting in an earthquake. |

You are correct that anything under 2k RPM shudders, especially when you're trying to increase your speed. If I'm in sit & go traffic, I'm usually finding myself in 2nd or 3rd gear (dependent on flow), but if I'm driving home late at night and there's no traffic, I'll be in 4th as I'm going 60~70kmh without having to slow down much. |

Shaking under 2K RPM is not normal. That happens under 1k, maybe around 800 RPM, at least in my car.

I thought that was a normal problem. My old 3gen 3sgte and my brothers 2gen 3sge feels uncomfortable under 2k. Zero power(My 7afe has more power there) and shaking. Maybe my new 3sgte will be better, havent tried it yet.
