Not sure if you guys will be able to see this or not, but I bought a third Celica yesterday!
My first one is the ST204 that is my baby, second is a parts car ST184 that didn't run, It's Demise: and this one is another ST184 which according to the seller runs and drives fine. Not bad for the price I paid: ST184 Celica I Bought I am gonna be taking the extractors off the ST184 and installing the old ones from my other ST184, and using the extractors on my ST204. -------------------- ------------------------------| White '94 Celica | Bought 11/05/12 | Sold 12/05/15 |------------------------------ |

Today, since it warmed up to a pleasant 11 degrees F, I installed the plugs/cap/rotor/wires I've been sitting on for two weeks.
I took the Autolite plugs out and replaced with some copper NGK Vpower, I must admit even the way the NGK plugs were constructed is So much better, the seal washer was way better, the material the threads were made up were way better, the terminal the wires connect to was way better. and still only about $1.50 each on RockAuto.com I must say this is the first time I replaced a Cap and Rotor where you could Plainly see that it had a lot of carbon build up on the contacts and really needed to be replaced. Although it didn't have any Denso markings or Japanese writing so IDK if it was the original cap or not. I started to replace the Fuel filter as well, but I couldn't get the old one off. I may need to get a special 6point box end for the 17mm banjo nut on top, a nice long one. or somebody to hold the lower wrench in place so I can put some torque on it. I've had bad experiences in the past with messing up the fuel line... time for Scooby Doo Flashback (Wayne's World Style) /didledo didledo didledo ... long story short, It was my first car, a '79 Berlinetta Camaro, with a 350 and a quadrajet 4barrel carb. I tried to get that fuel-filter out of there with only one wrench, so when the nut turned the fuel line turned with it and put a small kink in it which actually ripped a small crack in the backside of the line that I didn't see. Then I figured I'd just put it back together and not mess with it till later. when I tried to start it up it would barely run and I kept pumping the gas pedal to keep it going. So I backed out of the driveway and realized I wasn't going to be able to keep it running so I pulled back in the driveway. About this time, just as I was reaching for the key to turn it off, the headers got just hot enough and BOOM! it caught fire with flames coming out the hood and fenders, and of course the old heavy doors didn't want to open and I had to throw my shoulder into it to get out. then the fire department showed up and took an axe to my fiberglass nose and squirted Foam down in my carburetor : { that motor was done. It was a white Berlinetta with T-tops and I later rebuilt it with parts from a black z28, including the back nose, hood and rear spoiler. It looked kinda like black and white cop car. also used the LS 3.73 rear-end with my Berlinetta transmission. It did 55mph at about 3500 rpm -------------------- Bust a Deal; Face the Wheel.

Decided I'm selling my car again. I just don't drive enough to justify owning a car, nine times out of ten I just catch a ride with someone anyway. Save some $30 a month from insurance and the $20 or so each year for tags. I haven't driven in over a month now, it's madness. For me to own my car, I have to pay: - $66.60/month for Third Party Property + Fire and Theft Insurance - $58.30/month for Compulsory Third Party Insurance (CTP Greenslip) - $20/month for Registration of my car - $10/month for the 'privilege' of having personalized number plates - $33/year safety inspection fee And this is before I have even driven the car, maintained it or had to repair anything on it... holy mother thats alot!! i only pay $200 a year here in pr and im good to go |

Today I actually did some work on my car. My front splitters were to the point of almost falling off due to my hard driving in the snow.
It's so good to have a garage with a pit. Weather of 60s is nice too. -------------------- |

Why, what was the problem with the other one? I had 5 wire mirrors, with a 7 wire switch, and 7 wire relay. My new ones should be a complete 5 wire set. -------------------- |

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/TOYOTA-CELICA-L...8fa5&_uhb=1 after looking there is another left one for sale that looks less scratched, Also came across while browsing folding mirrors for $55 (minus shipping) Anyone know how much more effort will it take to get the wires and buttons and wire them up? -------------------- |
