does anyone know where to find a decent how to on an FMIC install on a st205 with 3s-GTE? me and a friend replaced the bumper support with a homemade intercooler holder that we welded together, I couldn't really find a how-to when I did mine. I bought a nissan s14/s15 FMIC and made it work. It's 3 inches thick, 3 feet wide, and 18 inches tall. If I can make it fit then anything will fit. I just had to shave the bumper. -------------------- -Jay

Most people just mount it to the crash bar like he said, there is only so many ways you can do it. take the bumper off and either weld an L bracket or drill a hole a bolt it to the crash bar.

I'm pretty sure I have a picture of mine with the bumper off in my build thread in the "my project" section if you want to look at how I did it. You'll need a welder though

You'll need a welder though cool man ill look it up i can weld pretty good :L cool i take it the FMIC is better than the stock TMIC? im wanting to get atleast 350 brake out of it its running 280 right now but im going to get the FMIC and a ct26 turbo custom fuel management etc. so hoping for better power. |

I was away from my computer the other day and couldn't post the pic. It's a pretty massive i/c with 3" inlet and outlet. I'm using two reducers to drop it down to 2.5" inlet and outlet because 3 inches is way to large for my setup. The bracket was pretty easy to make, it is all scrap steel my buddy had lying around. It bolts in where the old crash bar was. We made the hooks that hold it from the top because that is where the mounts are on this one.

my car doesn't have a gearbox oil cooler, it isn't an st205, it's an st204 (former 5sfe) with a 3sgte
