Yeah I think that's about as close to the center as it gets, and def a doable drive for me. Is there a good place to have a meet there?

we used to do the hill country run out in Austin. fun twisty roads.

We could meet at Woody's it's a little hole in the wall gas station with some badass home made jerky.




I would love to go "cruising" on some of those back roads out there.

Never heard of the place but I'd drive that far just for some good beef jerky, and celica meet as a bonus. I wonder who else would be down to meet there?

Yeah they have every kind of jerky from elk to buffalo, it's also a good bbq place to eat at as well. And if we can get the people and the right weekend I'm definitely game. And I didn't even hear about any austin cruise but that might have been before I joined or while I was away.

Yeah I saw the elk jerky on there website but for $70 I'm not gonna know how it tastes. They used to do them but that was 3-5 years ago, I was still in high school so was couldn't attend. Anyway, that place is less than a 2 hour drive for most of us, hmm maybe we shld get a thread going for it and see who wld want in.

i think the problem is location, we need suggestions, like the one above.

im going to try this again, please put down your name, and a prefered location, after we get enough people, we can start a poll and just vote on a location.


i would love the austin run again, but i don't want it to be so far and then only two people show up like last time. its not fair for anyone.

We did the Austin gig back in like '08. Pretty good group of I think 12 cars? Maybe someone out in Austin can help you guys set up a course with some good twisties. If not, find out about the Twisted Sisters route out in that same area.

the old threads are still there, stephen had the route there. The austin run would be great if people come. like i said, i dont only 2-3 cars showing up after such a long drive.

I go to Houston every month for drill, I need to get to one of these meets one day.

In that case put your name down and a date range that works for you in the Houston area ( or if u prefer corpus that's fine too)

Well Corpus Holds a car meet every Saturday which is pretty cool. as far as the Houston dates thats easy. First Weekend of every month My unit is off of 45 just off of the Greens Road exit. Feel free to text me if anything comes up, Im always up for news on Celi meets. Even more now since spring is coming and my car is almost ready for the road.

Alright so let's try te first Saturday of every month.
I know some local meets nearby in Katy area. If that works for you that's great. Then we can just meet there and once more people actually start showing we can organize an austin run

Well today since its Saturday theres HIN (hot import night) over at the George R. Brown Convention Center, its more of a show. And theres the 59 dinner meet that takes place on Fry and I-10 and it starts like at 9:30
