ya I've been checking out the auctions for the st202 and wow they have some good stuff. THey have a few 3sge redtop, but they dont come with a tranny and no description as to what the motor comes with and all. They have alot of rare celica parts that for sure and the prices are pretty damn low.

I've bought a lot of stuff from both Nengun, and via the yahoo acutions, beware shipping is very expensive right now.

Dont buy an hks intake for the beams if thats the hks vvti intake you refer to, they are junk and create so much turbulence over the air flow meter that it tottally screws up the fueling and you will lose power. The sard intake is proven to be better as long as you do the required afm mod.

Is this the intake your mean Edophus?

Do you have to remove the airbox and find a way to keep the maf/afm in place.

4 year revival boom!

Well nengun customer service is very good. whenever i write to James he replied very quickly within a day if not twice in the same day. I'm looking for an exhaust and wanted to share what I know not what I've experienced, cause i have yet to purchase anything from there yet.

products that are listed as used items under "ST202 or ST203" are products that they actually have in their warehouse. meaning you can buy it directly from them. They are partnered up with yahoo japan auctions so whenever you see an auction item that says bid or buy it now means its coming from yahoo japan auction.

In order to bid on auctions or buy directly from nengun, on anything product, you need to have funds in your nengun account.

So lets say you see a very rare part on auction items from nengun website that you want to bid on/buy it now. you first have to guestimate how big the item will be in cm. then you can choose your shipping, type of insurance and how to pay.

now the downside with auction items for example: you want a set of hks cams that are $98 and you choose the 2nd to cheapest shipping method, which is $100 called Japan post surface air lift (2-3 weeks shipping time). You also find a set of cam gears used from nengun used items and you want to ship them together.

Nengun can ship the orders together for you, all you need to do is email them the order numbers and they will make it happen. However, you will need to place the orders/bid separate, and pay the shipping as if they were being shipped separately. If you pay any excess shipping we will refund the difference to you once the orders are shipped. There may be customs charges which will be determined once they arrive into your country. James told me he hasnt seen that happen to often. Nengun is not notified before they even ship out your products if customs will charge or not. Nengun uses DHL and Fed ex, but even they haven no control over that.

one 6gc member got an exhaust shipped from "super rare Keith" aka RPM Garage and they didnt charge him any customs fee...

hmm well its sad to say nengun isn't what i thought it to be as far as what i've experience. i tried getting a exhaust shipped and turns out they want to charge me an arm and a leg because the exhaust exceeded the 1.5m length. the only available shipping options are DHL and FED EX express services which both are from $530-600. since thats the case their system automatically eliminates any of the other shipping options you see that are shorter than 1.5 meters long. even though they use containers to ship car parts, thats only possible for me to do if my order total consisted of various parts exceeding $1,000.

im sure for parts that are not exhaust related this would be a different story. but even from what njcmd2002 and masked man paid for shipping for the exhaust (from neighboring Asian countries) was $150-200. the exhaust I want is not one picee from the catalytic converter to muffler, but rather is in 2 pieces the same way masked man got his shipped from rpm garage. so i guess even though nengun is a well organized company with A+ customer service their shipping isnt realistic...

well, they just wont do it. but im telling you, it would be cheaper to get it from other sources. I priced a c-one lip for a gt4 and shipping was 400 usd. It just depends, you see nengun has to make money with those auctions too, and part of that shipping is profit for them...

keep looking, call local importers, tell them what u need, and if they can include in their next container.

he told me they don't make profit from the shipping. im sure they get a percentage from the auction sale since they have the items on nengun web.

i called all places that carry jap parts. i posted that in my wtb st202 exhaust thread. they always say just wait till our next shipment on so and so date then i call and they repeat the same thing. i cant just request parts like that?!

yes you can, you have to know the right people. an exhaust somtimes is waste to them as not many buy those. tell them u have cash, and the next time they part a beams to get it for you. hell tell them you can make a deposit.

Just got a TRD strut bar from them. My experience was quite pleasant. It took about a month for me to get it though.
