I am about halfway done with my second AWD build and I think it's time to start selling all the research and develpoment I've made over the past couple years. I've been getting alot of pm's about the rear subframe mounts so here is the deal. I need a set for my current project and I would like to get them laser cut, so it will be relatively easy to get multiple sets cut at the same time. If you are interested in a set of the mounts let me know, price will be around $500 for the set. The pictures I have are of the first set I made and those were cut will a palsma cutter. These laser cut sets should be much cleaner and easier to work with.

I've been searching for a GT-4 gas tank for well over a year now and I've had no such luck. As most of you know the one I'm currently using is a bit on an eye sore. I spent ALOT of time designing one specifically for this conversion and the finished product is perfect. It will tuck right behind the rear diff and sit were the spare tire well previously sat, and will not be visable from the rear of the vehicle. The fill port uses your celica's stock fill hose and the fuel pump assembly will drop right in. My tig skills aren't the greatest so I had a shop professionally make these. Price will be $250 for the tank, capacity is 10 gallons.

and any suggestions if i'm planning on running a fuel cell in the trunk?
thanks.

The only thing needed for the driveshaft is a carrier mount near the e-brake, it will use the existing tunnel where your exhaust was. The tanks I made are SCCA approved and mount under the vehicle so your not smelling gas every where you go. These tanks were designed just for this build so I doubt you will find a better fitting fuel cell.

just curious but do you have a picture of this mount? is it bolt on from a gt4? or does it require welding because our car is missing something?
oh cool and i ask because if i would do this it would be a track car, not entirely worried about gas, but good to know. thanks.

carrier mount + rear subframe mount + fuel cell package for $900 - $1000? Seems like a nice deal if it were to be offered.

would you be willing to sell the dimensions of the carrier mounts and subframe mounts? I'd be able to make them myself and have no intention of re-distributing your work. I'd be interested in purchasing yours, however shipping to Hawaii is never fun to deal with.

Anybody got this guy's contact information? He hasn't been on in awhile and I'd love these mounts..

Why do more work than I have to if the mounts I have to make are already made? haha

I can second this - I'd be quite interested.

BTW, Malek, I'm up in Boulder also pursuing an AWD project!

I'm very interested in doing an AWD project also,(I like the idea of a AWD Vert) been reading a lot about what's involved and apparently the fuel tank and the subframe mount is the hardest part. I'm hoping middle to end of the year (maybe sooner) to be in a position to buy a whole front clip with the rear assembly aswell and make it happen. Perhaps if you guys are in a similar situation we could all coordinate and do all 3 together lol,,

Agreed. No reason to keep posting in this thread. Thread will be reopened at Jmeyer's request.
