Make sure you replace the gasket behind the whole oil pump assembly. I only did the oil pump gasket and I still have the same leak.

Noticed today when I went to install the passenger side SS Celica door sill, that I have two Drivers side sills.

Contacted the seller in Japan via ebay, and he is shipping me the passenger side sill no charge, thanks! Now I guess both of my 6g's can have a fancy sill for the driver!

Ask him to ship two passenger ones, so you can sell them.

There's more to it? From what I've been told I only need the seal from the kit, but I've been recommended to get a new oil pump as well as that could be the cause (have to see when everything off) but theres a gasket behind? or will that come with a new oil pump if I order it in

In other news while I was out getting lunch an R8 parked next to me and I went to take a photo and my phone died frown.gif

There is a thin outer one that looks like a race track and there is a seal around the shaft

Order it through toyota. Its a tiny gasket so aftermarket ones may get still leak if not absolutely perfect. Hate to go through all that work and realize it still leaks. But replace both while you're in there. I replaced my can and crank seals too. Hair of oil on the timing belt so I replaced that because I had no idea when it was changed last. Spent about 200 with oil and plugs. About 7 1/2 hours but I had to clean everyyyything while I was in there since the car was covered in oil.

Well, I haven't been around in a while unfortunately. This happened to me a couple of months back, and I simply haven't had the heart to post it up yet. She will be missed.
