Hopefully everything is ok with Richee, water is only fun when it doesn't destroy things.

The water is going down. All good.

Do you guys think this is the bigger spoiler that fits the riser blocks? Can't tell from the angle... I'll call them tomorrow, but it's worth asking here too.
If it's easy for someone, measure how wide yours is, like in the middle.

Mine is the small one and looks different, thicker. There's much less space between the spoiler and the hatch.

would be easier if you had a picture from the side.
I know there is the euro spoiler which is not as long on the side.

Unfortunately, there were no pictures of the side. I have the euro spoiler.

The other one is like what everyone else in the world has, you can tell it extends further and it has a bigger gap. It's weird seeing the car without the third brake light. All else fails maybe I'll sell you mine, reduce my coefficient of drag and all that good stuff. tongue.gif

Yay water going down.

Started up the Celica since its been sitting for a bit....

Started up great.

Pumped the clutch a few times, 3rd time, hits the floor and sticks....

I'm estimating the master is blown, hand me down from the wrecked ST. Ah well, I'll pull the engine before I fix that...

I just had that same issue and it turned out to be the slave cylinder. Both are incredibly easy to replace and are fairly cheap for aftermarket ones.

ya the only hard thing about changing the master would be crawling up under the dash.
but the pedal will act the same way if it just needs to be bled you might try that first.
I had to pump the clutch pedal by hand so that I could pull it back up while my friend opened the bleeder at the slave cylinder. but after we bled and
purged the old nasty fluid it works fine.

Whoever owned it before you must've really beat the Hell out of it and neglected it. Killing a 4.6 is quite the feat.

The 4.6 is one of the most proven and reliable engines out there, there are more of them around with more miles on them than there are many import engines with similar mileage. It's from some dumb fùck in the past dogging the Hell out of it and not taking care of it, do that with any car and it'll break. Except for maybe something with the 1UZ-FE, I can't recall seeing any of those being destroyed as of late.

It does suck... so now I'm probably up for $1k-2k in repairs for a car I'm selling in 6 weeks (And It means I won't be able to drive it for 2... what's the point!)

It only just started.... so going to try using some thick oil and babying it and selling it cheap rather than do the full repairs, but we'll see. I already had a full track day planned for the 25th April, another autocross next Sunday and was investigating happy-drags at Sonoma raceway.... but looks like none of that will be happening... :'(

It's 140k miles... so theoretically it is in the region where it happens... but for a beefy V8 you would expect it to last to 180-200k at least.
