I have 95 celica with the stock headlights and i want to get rid of the old looking light color ..i try to use hid but they where tooooooo bright so i had to remove them amd im stock with my old bulbs again any ideas on what to do to get that white blueish looking lights?

There are aftermarket bulbs that you can go with
halogen bulbs is what you would want.

Philips and Sylvania make "HID lookalike" halogen bulbs. Sylvania is $50? or so a pack, while the Philips are $30 or less. Can't remember, they're on Amazon.

Get projectors and get 8000k HID

For the past three years I have used the Sylvania Silver Stars (high beam bulbs) model number 9005 for both the low and high beams. To fit the low beam receptor you have to grind out the two ridges ( inside top of plastic connector between the two metal pins). The high beam bulb version does not have the black cap on end of the bulb which diffuses the light, but also reduces the brightness. Fortunately, the design of the glass headlight diffuses the light appropriately.

IMO the Silver Stars provide an excellent combination of brighter white light with subtle blue tint while staying reasonably close to the original maximum wattage specifications. They maintain the original light and wiring configuration of the Celica and reasonably priced for the lighting upgrade they provide with just a few minutes effort to modify and install. I have had them installed for three years and have not yet had to replace a bulb. There is also a step up with a Silver Star Ultra style bulb but I have not tried them because the Silver Stars I purchased originally have been excellent.

I will second Sylviana Silver Stars.
They are produce a great amount of light for halogen bulbs.
If you go with some "JDM" bluish lights from pepboys, the light output is TERRIBLE.

In lieu of shelling out for JDM projectors or a projector conversion so I can put HIDs in, I took your advice and got a set of Sylvania Silverstar Ultra 9005's from Amazon ($17 each). I used a chisel to scrape out the two plastic guides so they would fit the low beam connector. Big difference!

they still look a it yellowish?

I use Xenon bulbs which don't cost much, very bright and a brilliant white.

It looks like the left headlight is stock while the right one has the Silverstars

Correct. Passenger side is stock Sylvania low beams, driver's side is the Silverstar Ultra high beam bulb. 'before & after' if you will.

Like the after, and will be using these myself.,

I'm pretty happy with it. Not a noticeable upgrade to anyone other than the driver -- the light output just looks like it 'should' compared with newer vehicles with halogens, rather than the very dim yellowish standard bulbs. I do notice a little bit of glare on street signs so I think these are projecting scattered light above what the stock bulbs do, but it doesn't seem like enough to cause blinding issues.
