That being the case hopefully it's just the control unit acting up then. Odds are the previous owner punched it to turn off the A/C while climbing hills and getting onto highways and interstates. laugh.gif

today i made a switch panel out of plexiglass and vinyl wrapped it with 4d carbon fibre.

- also vinyl wrapped my centre console in brushed aluminium. (iv wrapped alot of stuff before but this centre console truly was a pita)

- added wiring sum 12v sockets as i had nothing better to do after work.

- waited patiently for my plexiglass to be delivered so i can replace the shift gaitor (will be doing that soon)
- waiting for End to get back to me about a ball shifter.
- washed the car
- went bowling lol

@pegGTS sorry to hear about ur car man. i know how much of a pisstake that is

Today I sent my 350Z off to a new home. Time to start searching for a replacement.

Almost forgot to mention, it's officially the end of an era. The kid and his dad came back today and test drove the car. He wanted to buy it today, but I had to get my head-unit out of it and clean out things like my emergency kits. Was ungodly hot today so had to wait until a few hours ago to get all of that sorted. Tomorrow at 13:00 give or take I'll be car-less. Really don't want to sell it, but I had said I would a couple of days after he first asked and he already went through the trouble of getting a loan. Getting $3,000 out of it, so that'll go some ways in getting a MKIII or whatever I end up deciding on. I'm not sure if I'm so much attached to the car, or the thought of knowing it didn't need anything. At least it's going to a good home.

Yep, just gotta find the right one. smile.gif

Box, I was actually about to rub it in your face that I sold my Z before you sold your Celica, but I guess we'll call it a draw.

Smart Cars are the most pointless vehicles I've ever seen. Or are you just making fun of me being vertically challenged? tongue.gif

Fuel efficiency isn't really too much of a concern, as long as it doesn't get 10mpg on premium like my '67 DeVille did everything is ok. Some six-cylinders will be fine as they can pass mini-vans. tongue.gif It's only Japanese women I have a thing for. *cough*

I suppose I'll stick around here though, finding a new forum and meeting new people is too exhausting. tongue.gif Besides if I get a Supra or first gen Celica it's relevant enough.

I thought about getting a GT with a sick/blown engine and swapping in a 1MZ, but I'm just too lazy to do that. That and I'd like to go back to RWD. Thought about another car, the SC300. Finding one with the 5-speed will prove difficult though.

I'd love a Beetle. I'll have mine in silver with VarioRam.
