Hi, I am looking to find out how to install my AEM UEGO 02 Wideband. If there is a how to or if someone can give me some insight on what to do, that would be great. I tried to search for a how to on this but didn't find anything. Any info would be helpful. Thanks.

Did your gauge come with instructions? If not, here ya go.

http://www.aempower.com/ViewProduct.aspx?ProductID=73
http://www.aempower.com/images/products/In...s%2030-4100.pdf

I never installed one myself, so i couldnt really give much advice, BUT, from what i understand its pretty simple. Find a power source to power the gauge (after you have identified the correct power wire fromt he gauge's harness, and one from your vehicle that sends power once the IGN switch is turned on), route your wires accordingly, and the if you have a bung in your downpipe already that will accecpt the Sensor provided then screw it in, or if you have to weld in a new bung i suppose you would have to go to a welding shop and have your sensor welded in, or a bung welded in....

Look up the ecu pin outs for your motor and that will help out a lot.

There is no need to wire it up to your ecu. You just wire it up to a power source and install it into your downpipe.

Thanks for the help, I probably have to get a new 02 bung since I have the stock downpipe from the 3S. Sounds like a simple install besides finding a shop to weld on the bung.

These didn't offer much in terms of tuning and data logging so I got the LC-1 Instead. Let me know how yours go. Best way is to find a shop and have them install the Bung close by to your stock Sensor. Don't take off your Stock O2 becuase these don't work with your narrowband ECU.

OK, yeah I will keep this posted. From what I read this just lets you know your A/F ratio and some data logging. I'm using a SAFC2 for tuning.

So does this mean I can use my existing 02 bung? I was reading and it sounds like I would need 2 separate 02 bungs, one for the stock 02 sensor and the other for the wideband.

I mean, can i just replace the wideband sensor with the stock 02 sensor so I wouldn't need to get a hole and the bung welded in by a shop.

You would need an adapter because the aem sensor is just a round screw in, and the oem one has a kind of oval shape. Once you do that you have to set the gauge to P4 mode, and run the white wire from the gauge to your ecu's o2 wire.
All of this is in the owners manual, and I highly suggest that you reference it before hooking it up this way.

Bump^ I'm going to be installing mine sometime soon. Would like some advice on where to "snake" the wire from my dash to the engine bay. I was thinking of going through the firewall hole where the engine harness is going through also? Also I'm going to be using DCW single gauge pod.

I have mine routed through the harness grommet thing.

I used to have it routed through the driver side firewall through a hole the PO made for some audio equipment power wiring. Have it installed in the center console atm.

I see. So its a matter of drilling a hole.into the dash then route it along with the harness. Another question. Where's the best place to put the o2 sensor? Ima have it on an eBay 5sfe na header.

The ebay header comes with a flange for the stock o2 sensor and a bung already in place for a wideband sensor right below it. Use that. I was using it before turbocharging and it read perfectly fine from there.
