U need a bmw. M3 I thought about the 3 series, but I'm not entirely sure about them. If I'm going to deal with a more maintenance dependent car I'd rather get a 300ZX. An e30 3 series might not be too bad for maintenance. -------------------- |

Oh yeah forgot about them, the one I was originally looking at was the E36. Still, Euro car... I have nothing against them per se, just the same level of fear that'd come with buying a rotary engine.

I think that Pontiac Solstice would have been an awesome car, if you got the turbo liftback gxp. but of course GM half-assed their way through it.

I saw a Solstice convertible a few weeks ago. So I have it down to four cars that I'll be happy with any of them:
'94-95 Miata '91-95 MR2 '92-95 SC300 '90-95 300ZX I think the MR2 is probably the one I want the most out of the group. Maybe out of the four I'll be able to find one of them. -------------------- 2001 Miata LS 5-speed

I have 90 300zx, it is a pain in the dick to work on, my opinion would be if you get one, replace everything at once, its easier to have the whole motor out to work on it, saves alot of time and aggravation. SC300 is a lovely car and roomy to work on MR2 you obviously know its awesome the miata, i know nothing about besides my tall can fit in one somehow being 6'3 |

Yeah, the only thing with the 300ZX was that it's a pain to work on and finding one that's been decently maintained. If all is kosher, just need to do the timing assembly and cooling system every 100K miles or 60 months. Sadly I'd hit the time before the miles. It's not like they're unreliable, provided they've been taken care of. Handle well and decently quick in a straight line, that and they look really good. Just doesn't have quite the potential as the others. Yes can swap to TT, but might as well just sell and buy a TT than to bother swapping.

today i... sat and admired the car lol and then realised how worn out my tyres have gotten so going to replace them soon hopefully with a new set of alloys too (yay for me) + probably a set of lowering springs because the ride height is ridiculous atm n maybe brakes n discs while i'm down there.
on a side note... would ET25 fit on the car without me having to roll the arches? i'm looking at sum Dare DR-B's 16x8 to fit on. then probably drop it by 40mm -------------------- "whoever said progress was a slow process... was probably talking about me" |

I loved how mine was sunken in. Really there needs to be a fine balance, I don't like when it's completely flush as it makes me think of a toy car. I like about half an inch to an inch from the fender to the wheel. I also like having a decent amount of sidewall, I guess I'm just an old man.

Speaking of cars and Celica, maybe could get one of the older RWD Celica or Corolla. They probably make the ST look fast though. Though I wouldn't mind if it were the first gen liftback. There's a 1st gen coupe nearby for sale, but the liftback just looks so much better.

Dyslexia says '87 and deal.
Been watching too much Initial D, and anime in general lately. It's bad when you start to recognize voices and all of the characters they've played. -------------------- 2001 Miata LS 5-speed

Never should of sold my damn car, I knew this was going to happen. Just be patient, sucks to hear that but dont rush into a car your gonna regret, i just found a beautiful vert with 153k from the original owner for 700, zero rust as well from ohio, was just missing the back window and i already got that fixed. Deals will pop up randomly when you least expect them, but why the hell would you want a XB after owning a sc300, besides gas reasons if doesnt make sense |

Supposedly he wants a more family friendly car now... Won't sell outright, will only trade... I've been waiting almost a month now, my patience is beginning to run thin. I'm more or less looking for any RWD car with a manual that can handle half way decently, it's not like I'm being terribly unfeasible. I think this is why people drive a Honda, they're freaking everywhere.
