Picked this up locally for $150 previous owner swapped it out for a MR2 Turbo LSD

Now if only I had some missing information, I could possibly make an engine choice cwm13.gif

That's great and all, but you need to swap the shift forks to the axle side of the transmission to use it in a celica...

got my dial kit today. looked good when i tested it with 12v. hopefully wiill have some time this week to do an install.

judging by its looks im pretty sure it goes over the existing dials especially since it says not to remove the needles to fit this. should be an easy install anyway. comes with on/off switch/dimmer

would be funny if i got mine before cleavelandgiant did lol

His arrived a few days ago, just a matter of who installs them first.

So...rear-ended Miata, flooded Miata, or blown head-gasket Miata? The rest are autotragic, red, or owned by boy racers.

i will probably install tomorrow or thursday lol

why dont u buy a piece of **** miata and do it yourself? u know enough about cars and you most likely enjoy it too. it makes the car more personal.

my clutch started slipping today so need to replace. need to lower the pedal aswel, gearbox is leaking aswel. and iv already said about the exhaust. what a pita. all at once.

Woo, the race is on!

Meh... I hate working on cars. The flooded one belongs to a family friend, so could probably get it for next to nothing. It's a black '99 5-speed with the Nardi and BOSE package.

Fun...not... At least the clutch and leaking gearbox is all at once.

It looks pretty easy to install. I'm jus wondering should I take the power from the dimmer switch or wire it so that it draws power like a bulb from the bulb socket. yeah time restraints are a big issue lol

Is it worth getting a remap for an at200? could do with some more power but plan to turbo charge next yr if the car is one piece.

today I got quotes.
£215 for full stainless steel exhaust. stock though. no loud back box frown.gif
£47 for a standard clutch kit or £86 for a stage 1 clutch kit shipped from cali.
still have to find a damn gearbox or atleast see if mine is repairable. goin to garage now.

this (and probably next month)
new exhaust. new clutch, reconditioned gear box. lowering kit. new shocks. new CV boots. new brakes. probably new brake lines and poly bushes if I have more money to throw at this little whore jus to keep it running.

No, not really.

If it's not going to be something you like then why buy it? An aftermarket muffler won't be any more than an OEM replacement, provided you're not buying a Greddy, HKS, or what have you.

Just get the Exedy OEM replacement.

If it's only leaking it's something simple and can be fixed. If you're talking about synchro grind then just about all of them do that, and the best course would be a mild rebuild.

Cool not gna waste my money on it then.

the joint between the backbox and centrepiece has basically cracked and is irrepairable. the cat is fine but there was heavy corrosion so myt get damaged while trying to remove centre piece. thought it would jus be easier buying a brand new exhaust lol and I only want a louder back box just for the noise. doesn't actually have to do anything else lol the exhaust jus sounds so damn quiet. probly just nostalgia from my other cars lol I like low rev rumbles

where do I get an exedy one from?

Not sure about where you live, but should be able to get an exhaust shop to fabricate something that'll incorporate an aftermarket muffler.

Again not sure with being in the U.K. but I know you can find them on eBay over here, and so on. Here's the Exedy part number: KTY18

I want to say there's an eBay cat-back for the ST204, not sure about the AT200 though.

spend $75 on 3 quarts of that Redline MT fluid, that might shut it up.

i've checked that. according to that it should technically fit fine. the arches are only rolled because of flush fitment. il see if any one on here has it without rolling arches. u got clutch-knee? think every car has given me that lol go for an automatic if it causes too much of an issue. not as fun as a manual though. assuming you are looking for 2005+ stangs
