Anyone ever thought about doing a curren like front end using the aftermarket projectors that are available for the 7th Gen corolla?
Might be an easier way to pull off that look while keeping up the times -------------------- 97 Celica GT liftback DD/ project

Well I have been looking all over the net for the last couple of days and can seem to find anything. Was really hopingto see it.
Was thinking of doing it kind of rrecessed so that is sits in the bumper instead of flush with it and then smoothing everything out to maintain the shape of the front of the car -------------------- 97 Celica GT liftback DD/ project

That's a really nice looking car but it's almost exactly the opposite of what I'm thinkin of.
I would wwant to go for more of an overlapping hood look. Keep the shape that our 4heads lights give but recess it all so that it looks like the hood protrudes out over the headlights and the grill similar to the way it dose with the new mustangs And thank you for helping to find the example you were referring to. I thought I had remembered seeing someone do it with 7gc headlightsbut iI haven't seen it done with 7th gen corolla lights before -------------------- 97 Celica GT liftback DD/ project

I don't think the 7th gen headlights would fit nicely on the 6gc.
One car is rounded the other is sharp. Ofcourse you can properly make the swap but I think it will look funny |

Not sure what headlighs were used, but if you decide to do such modification to your car, be prepared to pay more than your car is currently worth. -------------------- |

I like that as well. Just getting a clip to do it can be a nightmare from what I've read, I would much rather have projectors, and I like the curves of 6gs hood.

The curren swap is actually really easy. A little drilling and a small amount of welding for the core support and everything else bolts on.
The hard part is even finding a curren clip. |

I know dude its been awhile!
Car isn't close to being done yet although in the last year I've put some work into it, mostly focusing on suspension and cleaning things up. media blasting and painting my engine bay this weekend and then I'm picking up a 3rd gen 3s in the next few weeks. still got yours? |

Hi everyone, im new here (just a week ago) and im from Perù. I have a 1996 Toyota Curren and if you check my profile you'll see 2 or 3 pics from it. Just if that helps to see a Curren front end. Greetings.
