I have got a replacement coil pack for 5sfe 2.2. From what I'm reading most people just replace whole distributor.I thought coil pack was just a take out replace job?

I'd just buy a new distributor from 1aauto.com they're super cheap there and really good quality. Most of the time at least in my experience it's a hell of a lot easier because the coil pack is normally stuck to the dizzy really good.

Coil is maybe $20-$40, the distributor is more like $200plus.
Its less work to just change the coil, you dont have to use a timing light to reset the ignition advance. |
