Today I replaced my hatch struts, no more holding the hatch up with my head! biggrin.gif

Also, not today but Sunday I took off my front bumper to assess the broken bolt situation and install headlights / fog lights. Only one bolt was broken but they were all extremely rusted. I'll probably just get new bolts welded into the front bumper brackets to replace the rusted ones there. Installed my clear highs and mounted my fog lights, didn't get a chance to wire them in yet though.

And had a look at the custom projectors I had ordered off the forum and realized that I may not be able to get them to work...they seem to take H1 bulbs but looks like they're missing a piece to hold the bulbs in place...anybody have any idea if there is anything I can do about this?

There's supposed to be a base that the bulb plugs into, then a small metal clip that holds the base and bulb to the headlight assembly.

Check the second page, and scroll down to my posts and you can see a stock bulb in the factory base, then you can imagine a little metal clip mounted to the headlight housing holds everything to the housing.

Hi 6gc smile.gif

Today I:
Bought spark plug wires, Upstream oxygen sensor, and fuel tank cap.

Later on today I'm going to get berryman's professional 3 step fuel system maintenance kit.

I was thinking about getting a variety of berryman's on amazon, but I mean this kit is preassembled and comes with a DVD, which is great for a novice such as I smile.gif.

Today I decided to pass a slow driver in a minivan when entering the expressway and gunned it.
A second later, waiting for the car to pick up speed, I realized that I have a 5S.

Surely you went to third? I wouldn't think the 5S would be that horrendous.

Today my 3 post wheel from richee3 came. It's got a bit of damage on it but its not that bad. I'll either repair it or get it wrapped in alcantara with white stitching.

It takes forever to wrap a wheel by hand, my brother redid the wheel in his Maxima SE with lambskin and I forget how many hours it took. Probably had a good 20 hours or more with making templates and sewing it all together. Turned out nicely though.

@PegGTS i never get tired of looking at your number plate holder lol

today i have come across a stainless steel de-cat pipe. i have a quick question though it says that it is for offroad/track use (which doesnt bother me because that just means its some good ****) but will this pass MOT with that bolted to the car or should i keep a hold of my cat converter just in case?

in other news. road tax runs out next week. $450 a year just so it can be parked on the road. hate this ****. least its cheaper than a v6 though

Thats why I'll be having someone else do it. I don't have the time/patience to wrap it myself

Nice grill.

It's cute, isn't it? It wants to be a big grill some day. You can grill 4 burgers at a time on that bad boy!
