Thought about it but then Id be in the same boat as I was before I got the civic. It's nice having a beater car that you don't don't have to worry about as much.

Poly engine mounts, trans fluid flush......then my brake line burst...I'm lucky that it happened during Chicago rush hour where speeds do not exceed 15mph...now waiting for tomorrow to see the damage

There are no screws but there are two clips that require removing the glovebox and tiny small screw drivers to undo. Once the whole unit is out the surround to the vent can be removed. Took my door cards down to an Auto Upholstery place. Getting them to install the Vincent_Doggy Leather (I attempted and raged a lot). They are also going to attempt to repair the damaged driver side arm rest, but I think that will be a stretch.
