Quick question.... there is a black 2 post hatch for sale about 30 min drove from me, will that fit in the back of my liftback without damage?

Depending on how far away I'd just go there without the lift on and bolt in on there after buying it. Then you don't have to worry about it. tongue.gif

Won't it be cheaper plugging the holes instead of buying a new hatch and having it painted?
If you don't really care you can temporary put a round pieces of sticker and match the paint to yours, then put the TRD.

Have you actually removed your spoiler and dry fit the TRD, see how it looks? Or you need time to decide, can't just from a glance?

I am about to try a vinyl wrap anyway, so it is cheaper to get the new hatch and just wrap it instead. The TRD spoiler has the bolts molded into the hatch so it won't test fit properly since the bolt spacings don't line up.

Haha, not here.... would be pulled over within 10 minutes tongue.gif And the area where the hatch is also happens to be reachable via a long mountain run going around the city tongue.gif

Today I debated if I should sell the KYB GR2's I have sitting around and save for coilovers, or just put the kyb on my car for now.

Today I sprayed my GT4 WRC wing. Waiting a few days for the riser blocks to dry, so they can be polished and then it's fitment time.

I know coils would be better but my celi really needs suspension. It would be awhile before I could afford to buy some, and awhile before I can get my civic to be a safe dd.

how bad is your current suspension? I rode on my bad struts for about a year and a half before being able to afford coils. I had the same debate as well. even bought myself a set of TRD springs which i ended up selling to fund the coils. I went with Megan EZ streets and they've been great.

I'm pretty sure they're the originals so it's bad. I don't think it's horribly dangerous or anything but they really need to be done. I probably could get by for some more time though. The EZ streets look good and aren't too expensive. I've also been considering the megan streets too.

yup, EZ streets are great and perfect for budget builds. I don't do any autocross or anything, just a bit of spirited driving so they're perfect for me.

Tein only offers height adjustable coil-overs for the Celica, and they're more expensive than the Megan sets which are height and dampening adjustable. The fully adjustable Tein sets cost more than what the car is worth, so I guess there's really not a market in it for them.

I know the street megans are like a $1000. Aren't the fully adjustable tiens like $1500 or is that just the ride height adjustable ones? If Tien is a better quality then I wouldn't mind paying extra for them. I really don't care about my car's value. I never plan on selling it so it doesn't bother me. I'm already in it more than its worth so whats more money?

One thing to consider is that Megan is trying to be a jack of all trades and a master of none. Tein has been doing nothing but suspension for 16 years longer than Megan has even been around. Just some food for thought.
