Was just wondering whats a '94 Celica GT worth with 5spd 3SGTE St215 swap. Has GT4 WRC front conversion, the whole nine yards all the JDM options except power folding mirrors.
I'll looking at selling my Celi but not sure what to ask for it. Car is ex Cali car, has few dings, factory black. I hardly drive it anymore (I got too many toys), and I hate seeing it sit. Much work and love was put into it. Car is legit, clean IL title plated registered. Car seen some AutoX track days for one season, did really well too. Could use suspension work as Tein lowering springs on stock struts dont seem to mix well, have stock springs too that will come with it, aslo could throw in all my extra 3S parts, half completed 5sgte and trans I have and AWD auto trans too.

Its basically GT4 clone exept its FWD. (has no AC)

I'll be out of the country early Sept to late Sept, after that I would be seriously looking to let it go. I will also be selling piles of stuff I have projectors, tails and interior parts I have stashed for spares.

This is my 6GC when she was waxed for Import meet in Chitown (TRD wing has been sold) stock 2 post wing went back on.

Thanks,
Matt.

you have to be more specific, the car is worth whatever someone is willing to shell for it. but you have to tell the story so someone falls in love with it....

who did the build, when was it swapped. what parts are u using, any special modes, rust, missing parts, inerior,

in all honesty, people may be afraid of buying someone elses gremlins,

i would take the opportinity to take it to the sept meet in chicago, and let others see it. who knows.

but you have to set a price, and go from there, as they will lowball you like crazy.

to put you a range...

4500 to 6500 at best.... unless you tell us it has that rare, ultra lighweight unobtanium thingamaji....

LOL "ultra lighweight unobtanium thingamaji...."

Swapped it my self, E153 trans from Lexus ES300 V6, MR2 axles, had brand new Exedy clutch installed with Fidanza aluminum FW. Did timing belt/H2O pump last year. Has HKS induction kit, besides that its a bone stock ST215 motor running on stock boost. No boost controller, on Supra MKIV TT Denso intank pump. Parts were always used name brand or OEM from Toyo (my brother worked at parts counter in Countryside on La Grange Ave) Has GT4 rewired gauge cluster reads in Km/H, boost gauge and all other gauges or lights work like they should. Has the RPM signal converter box, for gauge to read RPM since its COP ignition and GT4 is Dissy. Used to have JDM power folding mirrors but I sold those and put stockers back on, but its pre-wired. Car is solid , has absolutely no rust (by that I mean like rust root or frame/structure) Has area on rear quarter that could be addressed but was like that when I got it. Its about 8.5/9 out of 10 for its age, interior is clean too.

I dont think I'll be here for that Chitown meet . Im going to be in Germany most of September.

About me, Im a gearhead at heart, and I wrench for a living, Im not some car butcher. Im really known for S-chassis in south-burbs, usually roll with high profile S13s and S14. My pride and joy is my S13 coupe Silvia with full oem Aero package one and only in this area that I know of. I always liked the 6th Gen Celi since I was a kid when they were new, then one came along and I was always interested in the 4AGE and 3SGTE motors. Liked the 4AGZE but they seemed to be too much of a dinosaur, so settled on 3S, everyone was doing the 3rd Gen, wanted something different and newer and got the 4th Gen motor.

I was supposed to start my 240sx AWD build from GTR front clip, but thats been on back burner for months. I got also 3 240sx and a daily besides the Celi, and 2 bikes. So something has to got, atleast 2 cars.

If your from this area you might have seen this car around Im only on south side hardly ever go up north, Im usually seen rolling with S14s white(sr20), red(sr20), burgundy(rb26), blue(rb26), white S13 droptop(rb25), and lightning yellow S15(sr20).

I got detailed pics of celica, but would have to find them on my PC. I was looking at around 7.5k-8.5k OBO asking price with all the extra parts I got for it. Guess that maybe high then? And I know I'll probably get lowballed as well.

I'll make a new post when I get back, right now Im testing waters, and not sure how the market is for these cars. I know a bone stock ones run around ~1800-3500, mine is a turn key swap moded, trying to replicate it would cost well lover my asking price I think-I might be wrong, thats if you find deals and hook ups.

Matt.

Car will not be parted out, I hope(dont even feel like doing it, probably I would cry doing it too if I had to),, but I do have extra set. I'll be leaving Monday/Tuesday for Europe. Hit me up then if you'll still want them, got extra set of J-spec Kouki tails too.

well, thats a fair starting asking price, and post pics of whats included, be patient and will sell....

the more you document whats done, more likely someone will appreciate the work. But patience is a must.

undercarriage pics, are a must since you up there..

True, I'll see if I can get her on a lift/rack at dealer and take pics, but shes solid as whistle. Besides I dont drive it in winter anyway, all my cars have seen rain tho. Sometimes you just get caught in it. When I get back from my trip, this be my priority #1.

Whats the best place to sell a moded car now a days? Forums, Craigslist or fleabay?
