I know, aside from the later second gen that one is my favourite. Seeing the Mustang tomorrow, forgot today was the BIG game in T-Town. Forget that traffic. tongue.gif Odds are the clutch will be the deciding factor.

LS swap the Mustang!

If I were going to do a swap it'd be into a MKIII Supra or a FC RX-7.

Well, I don't even know... Turns out the new clutch on the 2001 GT was a Spec stage 2 and the new cable was an adjustable one(which I've read is a huge no-no), it was probably twice as stiff as the Cobra I tested... There's a local GT that needs a new clutch anyway, but I'd be afraid of doing everything and then it still not be light enough. So I guess it'll be another Japanese car if I can't find a decent enough F-body.

Sorry to hear that. Wish you lived near me. I see decent f bodies on Craigslist often.

Meh, I'll get over it... I like the F-body more anyway, just easier to find a Mustang(and parts) and to work on. Plus I've read they're more daily driver friendly with the seating position and being shorter, that and the dash doesn't crack when you look at it funny... That's ok, the Firebird/Trans Am is a car I've wanted since I was a wee lad and I think a nice one would finally give me a car I love versus just liking.

I got my legit LED brake/tail bulbs and tried them out in the Celica, pretty damn good.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00P2D3W0...=UTF8&psc=1
Out of stock now sadly. As bright as the filament bulbs but instant on and 12 year warranty. They actually light the housing nearly correctly, unlike most LED bulbs.

My brother bought some for his reverse lights that use Samsung LED's and they're BRIGHT, definitely can see where you're backing into at night now...

a couple of weeks ago somebody was getting rid of 6gen for only $400, said it had title issues which is easy to junk in Missouri. But it had all factory leather.... if only I had the room to keep it long enough to tear it apart.
