Square I feel like you and the fiero are a match made in heaven

I'd like an '88 GT with a LS swap. Though depending on how much it'd cost might be better off getting a Ferrari 308/328. tongue.gif

Yea, no kidding. The box claims 5X intensity, whatever that means. Well it means bright as ****. I just hate it's winter and I can't go blinding people. Winter car doesn't use the same bulbs.

It's like the Samsung LEDs my brother used for his reverse lights, even with 20% tint you can see behind you just fine at night. If anything I'd almost be worried about people mistaking them for headlights.

I've thought about LED taillights if I were to ever go and black out the lenses, should more or less balance out. If anything in sunny conditions it'd help make it more visible going from black to red. In Alabama as long as the lights are visible from 500 feet you're good. tongue.gif

Do you ever have a problem where you just don’t know how to reply to an argument, not because you don’t know the answer, but you just don’t know where to begin? Like, the foundation of knowledge you’d need to impart to this person before you could even begin to drag them out of their sinkhole of ignorance would cost thousands of dollars if it were coming from a university?

All states must follow the same federal lighting guidelines, some areas may be more picky about enforcement than others but all vehicles comply to the regulations for the year and type of vehicle.

LED's on their own won't make tinted tail lights brighter unless you're using brighter LED's. The Philips are as bright as stock and won't do anything for you. Later model cars use vaporized aluminum reflectors in their housings which make the same bulbs look much brighter and work much better with LED's. Getting a brighter tail light then tinting the lens is like buying a glock then shooting yourself in the foot with it.

It's what's listed in the State regulations, so it's what I'll go by. Obviously would use brighter LEDs, using halogen brightness equivalence would be kind of silly. Then again the General had tinted the T/A's while still using halogens of the day, so it doesn't really matter I guess. Just feels silly to pay for a whole new set of lights when I could just modify mine.

My brother and dad helped install a short shifter in my civic. It feels much better. It's a slow car but it's fun to chuck around corners.

Is it really that much of a pain with the Civic? I knew my brother's Maxima you had to get underneath the car for part of it. The Celica was pretty easy though in comparison.

battery terminals need a good cleaning and to sit firmly planted on the posts, and i had the A/C plug swapped for another one on the throttle body. After that, she fired up and responded just fine. Always the little things. Now I hope that my clutch bleed job was done correctly. :\ Waiting for my rear hatch struts to come in (should be any day now) so I can go take her out and enjoy the $2 gas we've been having lately.

Seemed pretty easy. It only took them about an hour.

Yep, always. Though I rather it be small cheap things over big expensive things. tongue.gif

With what the Firebird gets I'm the only one that still cringes at the pump. laugh.gif

Not too bad then. I was just like, three people for a short shifter? tongue.gif

So I tried calling about the Miata today twice, and no answer either time. That and they don't have a voice-mail set up, so I couldn't leave a message... I guess I'll see if my friend can't stop by and just ask in person for me then. Unless a nice enough 240SX or MR2 pops up I suppose I'll be in another Miata for a daily. Not any Celica, CR-X, or MX-3 about either. It'd be nice to have a car big enough to carry more than myself, but then again I have Firebird now.

They did it for me while I was at work. It was a nice little surprise.
