I was figuring I could get at least $1,000 between the superfluous parts and then selling the car to someone that wanted the drivetrain. Going off the estimate at the time even if I could find matching parts locally it'd be borderline on rather it'd be worth it or not. If everyone wasn't on drugs wanting $4,000 for their burnt up Miata I wouldn't even be considering it.

Hey, look what I found a stones throw away: http://bham.craigslist.org/cto/4888986508.html Pretty sure this one is the same one I saw at the parts house not too long ago, it sounded of bumbled bees though. Looks fairly ok except for the driver quarter looks dull and creased. That and the 220K miles, I suppose I'll keep an eye on it to see if he drops the price. I have this thing about not liking to negotiate, every car I've bought I just paid what they were asking as what they wanted was fair. That way there's no awkward moments, rejection, or anger. Just me standing there for two hours deciding if I want it or not.

Ewww, family wholesomeness. ![]() More like rally wagon. I love wagons to death. They look great and they're practical as hell. Coupes are fun till you have to take your friends out or you need to haul things. Eventually mine will be fast. -------------------- |

Liftbacks and coupes are plenty practical and it unnerves me to have more than one passenger in the car, so it all works out for the best. I would totally buy a hearse though, but it'd have to be a '68 Cadillac.

The Celica is a good daily, kind of has the bigger on the inside than it is on the outside TARDIS thing going for it. I love liftbacks, they look fantastic and are practical. Of course if you have more than one friend to carry around at a time maybe not so much, but I'm not plagued with that problem.

And I love the way it looks, the GC model is my favorite impreza and I can see myself keeping this car longer than my civic. Once I graduate I plan on swapping it to a wrx engine with and sti gearbox. For now though it will just be appearance, interior, and suspension mods This post has been edited by 1994Celica: Feb 16, 2015 - 10:19 PM -------------------- |

I'd like Subaru's more if every single one I saw wasn't leaking at least oil from the head gaskets.

I remember seeing something about the EJ series being infamous for blown head gaskets, I'd imagine they're not fun to change either.

I'd like Subaru's more if every single one I saw wasn't leaking at least oil from the head gaskets. The NA 2.5s were notorious for it but mines an ej22 which are really reliable. -------------------- |

Had significant damage to home due to the winter storm. Leaky roof damaged ceiling and carpet.
