The conversion is done, only few things to button up, like power steering, axles and plug ecu, and hood, but nothing more that is breathtaking. All other updates will be on my build thread...

Last few pics for those interested..

new 3 prong coolant plug from a scion Tc, needed to have the temp sensor in gauges working... cant remember part number...

Hows your shift cables clear your swap? on my Corolla I had to build the rear header around that problem.

Im surprised no one has genuine interest here. but oh well.

Last few things that i think are relevant for the swap. Dont want to bury this in my progress thread...

the exhaust routing, is hard, there is no way to do unless you pay a pro, and that will be even hard, an nice y pipe connection, let along equal lenght collector. Im using Goukys headers, and maybe if you are using the original headers, but that may be a long shot.

To mate this engine to AWD tranny, rear bank header will be a bitch, to do because of the rack, and lines, and the shifter cables.

0A3DA358

and after some free gaskets

56974E4E

you can tell clearance is an issue....

4C3B4846

and im worried about the oil pain, sits too low, maybe 1 inch too low, i will get to that when i can, i may need to use a shallow oil pain, and enlarge to sides.

the hard part, that u stop and try to recollect where you left of when in comes to wiring, is also a bitch...

767F67AA

boy it took a while to know where i was...

after a while i figured out, i made a few wiring errors and not mistakes, i have to wire new obd2 lines for the engine, and i routed those to the IJ1 plug, well it would be easier to the II2 plug. So Ill do this in the main cabin and fix the engine harness later...

got some extra wires from the yard... you really need to get this plug, as there are no similar pins in all the harnesses

5DB13B4D

then extended those, (to be exact only 3 for CanH, CanL, and TC)

96BCFD24

and proceeded to reroute, youll see its easier to do this to the II2 plug, less drama..

FFDA3E72

next thing is to wire the free pump i have...

Man, I've been wondering how the install has been going! We are in the middle of a house sell/move ourselves, so I assumed that you must be too busy to make progress! I noticed you mentioned AWD transmission.... Is that what you're going for? I was thinking it was FWD only that you're shooting for...

It's not that we're not interested, we were waiting for updates. tongue.gif I'd grab some heat wrap for at least the section right next to the power steering line, might have to get a power steering cooler depending on how much the exhaust being so close heats up the system.

That or could maybe make a heat shield out of aluminum sheet.

Easier to protect the line from heat than it is to keep the heat in the pipe.

You can find that kind of stuff on ebay for cheap enough. Totally worth it.

My car, Gojira has been dead for 2 years... The first 2grfe swap on a st204 celica, (crossing fingers) i have to sort few details. Battery light is on, the SRS is on (i know why) the Engine check, will forever be on lol!!

a road that took too long, since at the beginning of the year i herniated a disc, and had surgery....

start up video... excuse the wiring mess, i had some last minute screw ups, lol

http://vid254.photobucket.com/albums/hh102...zpsmekknhtr.mp4

For the tach. I used the beams tach. and i know i have a high idle at this time.

http://vid254.photobucket.com/albums/hh102...zpsmblgnmyt.mp4

Special thanks goes to Gouky from mr2oc, despite all my noob questions, he was always helpful.

Im proud to say, his headers are in my car.....:thumbup

still long ways to go, the car does not have brakes or seats, lol, so i cant drive...
