So it just sits and spins the wheels and refuses to turn once it finally does grab traction? tongue.gif

Much better than you might think! The turbo lag actually does me a favor, and keeps it planted for longer.

FYI: The screamer pipe is absolutely the most hilarious thing on this entire build! It scares the ever-living **** out of people!!!
I've got the boost turned to about 16psi at the moment, and once it builds up it takes off like a freaking rocket!

Try and stay out of trouble. tongue.gif

One of these days I will have a car with forced induction, not really for the power but more for the added sounds. There's someone nearby that has a '66 Chevelle running a supercharger with a BOV and it sounds magical.

dude i love how you routed the piping.

FYI 1ZZ and 2ZZ use the same TPS plug, but the wiring is backwards.

Its interesting about the PWM of the newer IAC's. Ill assume that the 3rd gen IAC will not bolt onto the 4th gen throttle body. im sure there is a PWM dial that you could route in the car and turn it, much like earlier mentioned choke.

what about having the 3rd gen throttle body altered or adapted to match the 4th gen IM. but then again i see you had other issues with it.

ill be happy to take that off your hands for you smile.gif

My friend and I tossed around the idea of creating a switch to send a PWM signal. I'm pretty sure the specs are available in the 4th gen manual. I used a 1zz TPS plug. only wires that need switch are VC and E2. VTA is already in the right location. Unfortunately altering the throttle body isn't really an option. If you had access to a CNC machine you could make an adapter plate for the 3rd gen throttle body, and just cut the bracket off for the 4th gen and weld it on.

Hey guy's quick question! May be worth of making a video.

Car starts and idles find on cold idle with VAC around -15, but after it warms up it drops down to between -12-9 and idles rough, and will occasionally die at stop lights. Any insight?

Has the ECU been tuned in for the cams yet? The more lift and duration the lower the vacuum will be. May just be as simple as raising the idle speed and changing the idle mixture some.

Awesome setup. What did you make on the dyno and do you have a scan of the dyno sheet?

I made 343hp and 307 tq on the dyno. I will take a picture of the dyno chart in a bit and upload it.

Here is the dyno graph. Took several pulls to start generating numbers because of the tire spin. The low blue line is a previous dyno from over a year and a half ago on a really hot day that the shop did.
The upper 3 are the new graphs.
