Ok. Since my transmission on my 97 Celica ST has started going out, I have decided to go 3sgte.

I will be using E153 Trans from mr2.
The axles are most confusing to me.
I know to use the ST185 outer with MR2 turbo inner.

My question is...

Which joint do I do the splice? the inner of the axles or the outer joint of the axles?
Which axle do I use the actual shaft from?

I have seen the write up on "How To" convert to FWD and looks pretty straight forward.

Every thread I have come across just stated to use mr2 inner and ST185 outer.

Thank you guys in advance.

just get a Camry E153. you obviously dont know what it takes to convert the MR2 trans.

The MR2 and All-Trac CV's are bolt together. its obvious how they get joined

Thanks Batman and Smay for the info.

I never have seen mr2 axles nor st185 axles so I did not know they bolted together.
Makes perfect sense now on how to do the axles.

Mr2 Transmissions are easier for me to find than the v6 Camry trans.
Plus LSD is always a bonus.

I found LSD Mr2 Trans for 450 shipped to my house.
How can I not pass up on that deal.
