Just a quick one, will I be able to fit 17" wheels with a tyre size of 255/55/17 on my 1995 celica st?

Im pretty sure that won't fit, unless you lift your car. A lot.

or you can cut an inch off the fenders and quarter panels

You'll either want a 205/45-17 or a 215/45-17 depending on width of the rim.

Unless you have something that's on the wide side in which you'd have to try 245/40-17. Hell, there's a thread here somewhere that says what will fit.

225/45/17 and 235/45/17 are great options if you've got 8" wide tires. I've got 215/45s on mine and they're stretched to hell. Can't wait to get the 235s on there.
