Hello again!

So I have put my engine in after a month or so of working on it and it is starting up. We got the timing correct and have everything in place but the last time we started it up, we heard a vacuum leak. We have looked at all the hoses and there is always one that is not hooked up to something. We have tried just covering them off with a hose and a bolt but that doesn't work. Currently, we have 3 hose ports that are not connected to anything from the fuel intake and the vacuum line. We have looked at the diagram and have hooked things up the way they are in that as well and still there is something missing. This is our first time working on a Toyota and the thing boggling us is that, on the diagram, the air control valve is all the way to the left of the engine, but we cannot locate it over there. If someone can tell me where that is on the engine I can probably hook everything up and start it! When we looked at it last, my buddy said that is was near the starter and the transmission. Is that correct?

If there is anything that can help I would forever be grateful!! I love my Celi so much and all I want to do is get behind the wheel and drive her again. If pictures are needed I can do that but I am not too mechanically inclined so some of the vocabulary you may use might not get to me.

Help me 6GC, you are my only hope!

Take a picture of the intake manifold and where all your hoses are going. I can help you find and connect what you need to.
