It's almost two years since my last post here, things have been slow on the project side of things and I haven't done a lot.
The car have however gone from Black to matt white, I will post this progress below: 1. 2. 3. 4. I'm not 100% sure where to go from here so if you want, please give me feedback and suggestions! -------------------- ------------------------------| White '97 Celica | Bought 01/11/13 | Sold: Never |------------------------------ |

I just ordered some red TOYOTA stickers for the rims, some TRD stickers and some "for sport" stickers from ebay. The car is a little too white, and I need some more details for it to be nicer. I also have ordered some carbon vinyl stickers, and thinking of putting this in the side mirrors to get some black in there. Not sure if this will look nice, but it's cheep on ebay so doesn't hurt to much.
The area near the back plate is also an area i'm thinking of making black, but i'm not quite sure just yet. If you got some tips, please come with them. -------------------- ------------------------------| White '97 Celica | Bought 01/11/13 | Sold: Never |------------------------------ |

why not put a design on the back plate area like PegGTS has
http://www.6gc.net/celicas/1994-gt-14753 or buy riser blocks for the spoiler. i think The_enD might have some for sale but if not check the buying/selling board. |

Definitely do black mirrors and I think you should also do the hood spoiler black too. It'll be nice subtle things to help break up all the white

Yes, on black side mirrors, it looks great on a lot of colors.
No to the front spoiler, it will get lost being black, leave it white. -------------------- |

The side mirrors are getting Black as soon as possible.
I also have an universal hood scoop air intake on the way, thinking this maybe is an good way to break up the hood a little bit. The hood intake can also go on the roof. -------------------- ------------------------------| White '97 Celica | Bought 01/11/13 | Sold: Never |------------------------------ |

I understand that you dont agree, but I really would want your reason for this? Does it mest up the lines of the var or something or is it just that this is something you just dont do to our beloved cars? -------------------- ------------------------------| White '97 Celica | Bought 01/11/13 | Sold: Never |------------------------------ |

I will see about those rising blocks, thanks man 😊 -------------------- ------------------------------| White '97 Celica | Bought 01/11/13 | Sold: Never |------------------------------ |

Its it going to be something that is functional or one of those stick on ones? Cause the stick on ones are just completely ugly on any car and most people will laugh at it too (trying to save you from that)

So i managed to get some work done today aswell. The plan was to make my taillights darker, and also take the back plate. For this job I figured I wanted to try the black smoke PlastiDIP.
For the lights this was perfect and the result came out very good (In my opinion at least), but I'm not that sure about the back plate. I think it looks like I have started to paint it black and then just stopped or something. What do you guys think? PS: The trunk support is not function. I got a new one on the way, thats the reason for the plank. -------------------- ------------------------------| White '97 Celica | Bought 01/11/13 | Sold: Never |------------------------------ |

Also, you can't just have the riser blocks, they won't fit to your existing spoiler.
