Got a Z28 at the shop, 1980 I think. Owner smoked the engine wire harness trying to install some chrome alternator bracket or something and shorted it.

I have no idea, I guess he didn't pull the battery off or something. Looks fixable, will need a new battery to alternator cable and probably new cable to interior fuse block and wires around those cables.

Needs two-toned, the body line wrapping around demands it.

Think I'm burnt out on domestics and old cars in general, '99-00 Miata 5-speed and use wall stretchers so I fit. Done deal. Looked at the BMW E36 and Mercedes-Benz C230 Kompressor, they look nice and all but just not sure on maintenance and Euro car nonsense.

Meh, Z3 is terrible too. What is the obsession with jamb packing the engine bay BMW? '99-00 Miata it is, well that was easy enough. Now just need to sell off the Firebird and can get to shopping, that and shoulder binding.
