 stock diverter valve |

On the stock diverter valve on a st205, there is a filter on in the vacuum line that is purple on one side an black on the other. Does anyone know which way it is supposed to be mounted?

The purple side is toward the diverter/bypass valve and the black side is away from the valve.

Any chance you could take a picture? I thought that filter was supposed to go between the two vacuumlines on the valve.
