Today I replaced my washer pump. My fault for never using it.
I was surprised how heavy the tank was when I removed it. It holds a lot of fluid. So when I replaced it, I made some measurements. The float doesn't begin to move until the reservoir has just over 7 cups of fluid. That is well above the pump inlet. Those who like to save every extra pound of weight can fill just until the float moves and know they have plenty of washer fluid. It's a 94 with rear wiper and washer, but I guess all reservoirs are the same. This post has been edited by bryanf: Jul 14, 2024 - 11:04 AM -------------------- |

Quick question. I'm buying all new engine mounts for my beams swap. On the right mount is says type a or type b. What's the difference between the two?

LOL funny cuz I let mine go and it got so low that it got stuck towards that curve on the bottom. had to fish it out with some thin wire. good to know though. -------------------- *1997 Celica ST - 3SGE Greytop BEAMS *1977 Celica RA29 - Classic Cruiser *2005 Matrix AWD - dedded but still hanging around like a ghost 2019 Rav4 XLE Premium - Sports mode is fun. |

I always keep my washer fluid full, it's only like $2 for a gallon of Wal-Mart brand.

Today I finish moving the last of my stuff into the house where I'll be living for the next couple of years while I finish school. 12 blocks away from school, and a job on campus, round trip to school and back 4 miles. A full tank of gas could last me 80 days. I'm at 277k miles, and was probably going to hit 300k in the next year, now ill be under 2,000 miles a year except to go out and drive just for fun.
I actually have a bus pass included in my tuition, but do you think I'm going to ride the bus?? Hell NO! -------------------- Bust a Deal; Face the Wheel.

The tech who took it for a "test drive" put a good 15 miles on it before he came back. I'd be livid and very much looking to have that service for free before giving the shop a negative review online, that's ridiculous. Did you ask them to check on anything in particular? I've never had a "test drive" for an alignment unless I asked. we always test drive the cars to make sure they don't pull and that the wheel is straight, except we only go around the block... 15 miles seems VERY excessive.. -------------------- |

Went to the worst salvage yard ever. But did grab a 99 three post steering wheel, a new condition armrest thing (the big pad) for a reasonable price. Would grabbed the 6 speaker door cards, but they were broken.

Im so sorry, Red123. Out of all the GT-Fours that i've seen. Yours was simply a masterpiece and like no other. Your car gave me an inspiration to make my Celica distinct. You have my condolences.
