Nice car man I love the pictures! Keep up the good work!

Spent the past few days collecting the last of the parts and waiting for them all to arrive. I was convinced that the berk down pipe was the best mod I had done to the car but I fully retract that statement. This is hands down the best thing that has been done as far as a noticeable difference. The following parts were replaced -

New front struts
New strut tops front and rear (fronts are moded, they are st204 style mounts and yes they are awesome!)
New drivers side lower control arm $$$$$$$$$$$$$$
New tein S tech springs
New ball joints in front struts
New front and rear sway bar bushings

Although it may not look like a lot, all you super strut owners out there know how much $$$was just thrown down. Prices are almost out of this planet..
The current ride quality is awesome, not crashy like coilovers but very responsive to corners. Minimal body roll as well. No more clunky noises from the faulty strut tops and control arm. I'm very pleased with this set up, I would highly recommend this over coilovers. The ride is appalling with coils, RIP to your spine. Something with super strut seems to over exaggerate the ride with coils, with a set up similar to this the ride feels very similar to a normal performance car!

Installed, not in the picture is the new full spring dust boot. Trying something new to me out. Covers the whole spring instead of just the shaft.

I thought you were going to use the st185 strut tops? I thought the St204 tops didn't have a bearing? (not that the 205 strut really needs it)

Yes you are correct, I was going to use the 185 tops but the more I looked I like the idea of the st204 style. They are solid mounts with a roller bearing between the top and spring hat. Actually is a very nice combination as far as I can tell. Allows for easy replacement of the bearing if need be. Also makes for one of the few cost effective parts on the suspension Haha!

Superstrut suspension does not need a bearing top mount as the shock does not turn like it does on McPherson suspension.

You are correct sir, the reason I opted for this setup is because of the easy of parts and prices.

The superstrut dust boot cover that looks more like a top spring rubber insulator, actually covers about 80% of the piston stroke section.

Small update-
Ordered a set of 225/45/17 Bf Goodrich rivals (opting to go to 17's to better the ride quality)
Most likely order the new wheels within the month or during tax return season. Also replaced the spark plugs, wires, and valve cover due to the spark plug tubes being fully immersed in oil It incredible how such small maintenance can make such big improvements.

Not sure if you can technically call it that as the rain still passes through onto manifold

Technically does not stop the rain. The oem hood has the under tray to direct water away, but my car never came with it.

deflect doesn't mean stop, guys. Its obvious the rain can still get through...

What is up with this weather!! Its December here, and there should be snow, salt, and the death to a car enthusiasts season. Not this year, I have gotten to enjoy many days of getting the car out and having a good time. Thinking out to storage this winter I will be installing the new tires and wheels and hopefully recaros. I have also received some feedback from on the forums and facebook for some videos of the car so here you guys go!

How to make a boosted car faster...

Step 1
Fix the major boost leak

In the fist pic you can see the rubber seal is not even close to being flush. The second pic gives you a better idea of the massive boost leak I had, and yes the aluminum base is broken right off...
I was not aware of this boost leak, no unusual noises or running issues. Thankfully out of pure luck I received a new HKS SQV BOV for Christmas, only to find this fault. Once installed I took the car around the block only to
realize I was hitting over boost on my EBC. I kept lowering the duty cycle value, eventually getting it down to 22 from 64. That's a 2/3 drop from before just for the boost level, I think you can see where this is going...
After about a half hour of changing values on the EBC I got the car to boost on all gears without hitting the set in boost cut. I can fully admit I am slightly scared to drive this car now, it is an absolute monster. With the boost set to 16psi
it will break the front tires loose in first on a rolling start. Truly amazes me how this engine ever performed they way it had for so long, massive props to Toyota for building such
an incredible engine.
