Less for more, that's great. You should start buying the cheap ones and stripping them to resale as the expensive ones.

Decided against the Accord, I know I wouldn't like it and would want to immediately sell it. Plus it seems like it's just this guy's A to B car and nothing special to him. I want to go back in time and stop myself from buying the damn thing, I knew better but didn't listen to the voice anyway.

My luck the timing belt would snap after trading. It's not that they're bad looking cars or not a good car, just so many other cars that'd be preferable. Supposed to have that one guy drop by Saturday to look at it still, so guess will depend on how that goes. Plus I'm not sure if a manual Accord will be that much easier of a sale, constantly had people with the Celica saying "Ohh, it's not an automatic..." Why can't we be like Europe where it's the other way around and most cars have a manual?

A car you can use is better than a car sitting there rusting away. -------------------- |

Maybe. If I do trade I'll only keep it long enough for the title to come back in my name so I can sell it. I don't foresee myself particularly caring for it.

I dunno, not that it's really applicable to this situation but apparently that generation of Accord was notorious for automatic transmission failure. Kind of ironic... The only thing I've seen so far on manual models is someone ended up cracking a block, but from my understanding the F23A was supposed to be a pretty good motor. I've just never been wild about the Japanese cars made over here, more or less they're a second class citizen to the models made in their homeland. I just get the feeling it's going to be wallowy and vague and not fun or engaging at all, usually coupes based on sedans does not a sports car make.

Hey, it moves backwards. Actually at this rate I've thought about keeping it just to start up and listen to from time to time.

Had someone offer me an '88 S-10 4x4, and then someone else a '71 F-150. I don't even make mention of wanting to trade and yet that's all I've had except for the guy coming by at four. Why aren't people offering me stuff like Z-cars, Miatas, and the like? I'd feel more compelled at that point.

Pretty much. Just had someone else drop by and look at it, wanted to trade a Suzuki 1500 or early '00's Mazda truck. Told him was wanting cash, said would see what he could do. So who knows. Other guy should be here in the next hour or two to look at it. If I had a dollar for every person that's been interested in it I'd have my money back...

I would trade if it was something I liked, but that's yet to happen.

I really doubt anyone is going to come with a Miata to trade unless it's really beat to **** and haggard. Take the best trade that comes along and then sell it to pay for a better/desirable car.

I agree. Trade it for that accord or that Mazda truck. Both could probably fetch around 3k probably be okay drivers till you can sell them. -------------------- |

Meh, what's his face never showed up or even bothered messaging. Out of the myriad of offers the Accord at least would be bearable.
