well.... this kinda sucks.. but I'm over it. contacted the seller, we'll see what he says. not much he can do I'm sure. if nothing then probably just throw a hood spoiler over it and call it a day or paint it.

Well got some good news at least.
The hood will now only cost me $200. The seller agreed on a partial refund since this was the last hood in stock.
Not a bad deal at all.

Perhaps could touch it up some so it's not blatantly obvious, at least you were able to get a sizeable refund.

yeah, might get a hood spoiler to cover it up or some vinyl.
all in all, not the worse thing to ever happen.

and I was quite surprised at the refund as well. I went in expecting the typical, "not my problem, call and blame the shipping company" response but this guy was pretty cool.

The CF hood is so much more "subtle" on a dark colored car.
It looks awesome, despite the damage. Luckily its not super noticeable!

thanks guys.

laugh.gif yeah it seems like the only carbon fiber hoods I see are on white, red, or black cars.

I'm glad it's subtle. all the little things I've done to my celi are a bit subtle (aside from the red drums, I was fresh outta high school at the time lol)
Can't wait to see it in the sun though. then we'll get a good look of how it blends in or not. ?

What kind of an exhaust are you going to go with? I've been thinking about apexi ws2. I don't like the fart can sounding exhausts so that kinda eliminated 99%.
